I did as well :) DD and I are going up to London on Saturday to go to the Natural History Museum, so perfect timing, £2.70 train fare is a winner!!

    Eww to eating carcasses :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

And pretty much ewww to being the p**p queen too :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

:j:j:j to everything else tho :kisses3:

I'm just about to have a celebratory cup of tea (and, oh dear, I'm hungry again) as I got one of the rsh vouchers.

Well done to you and you do make me giggle! Well done. Peedie and Haggis require a 'lady in waiting' when out walking, so my duties are to be honest a bit 'p**py' - horrible job, has to be done.

:D I'm so jealous I've never been and I so want to. Must put that on my bucket list.

Acheived not much at all. I'm trying to make a plan to live more in the moment, this morning, not much acheived!

Just wittered on my wee silly blog and joined twitter - like I need any more distractions!

I'm so sorry to hear about your hubby - fingers crossed that hopefully he'll find something, he's a resourceful chap. Thanks Pippi, he's already putting out feelers, he'll start a proper search next week.

I'm not on here much either - and good luck on the weight loss and the exercise - good for you. I need to try harder - I only walk (albeit everyday) but I'm still no where near fitting most of my clothes.

    I think they shrunk.:rotfl:
Now that made me chuckle Pippi!! A friend gave me a satin embroidered sign, saying "Chocolate makes my clothes shrink!" which hangs on the key in our display cabinet. Maybe thats where I should lock up the chocolate...but perhaps I should just avoid having any chocolate in the house...much easier now that the boys are gone. ;)

Love your latest ponderings on your blog :heart2:...great to see those beaches again. I learned to swim at Scapa beach and Evie harbour in 1968...so fond memories....if a long time ago! I do miss the sea...and the fresh air...must head off for some sand and sea soon. Been enjoying walking the dog daily, now that DS2 has flown the coop. Got some lovely wellies with neoprene (to go over my fat calves :o!) at the Malvern Autumn Show...best fit I've ever had...reduced, but still pricey, hopefully will last me ages. :)

DH had his consultation meeting today, so the redundancy process is well under way now. Perhaps I could persuade DH to come with me in search of the sea on a weekday if the weather is nice, or at least not rubbish!! That sounds like a plan! :D

Need to get back to editing photos of xmas fabric....been a bit of a trial, but getting there now.

Enjoy the rest of the day..having mussels for tea tonight, with garlic bread and home-grown chard...yummmm!!

That's actually my real life job except not with animals

Will pop over to your blog and look for you on twitter.

Bit of A mixed week this week. It's DD's birthday tomorrow. She's 5 :T a whole half a decade! so am very excited about that. Can't wait til she's in bed so I can put the banners up. She's got an inset day tomorrow so I've let her stay up a bit later than normal. She'll be in bed in about half an hour though.

Work is going from bad to worse so not enjoying being there at the moment. Plus the in laws are coming down on the weekend so I have to blitz the whole house on top of DD's birthday and party!

Thanks guys. She's had a lovely birthday yesterday and a lovely party today. Personally I'm shattered and won't be long before I'm off to bed! If I don't fall asleep on the settee first ;)
