Wow Pippi - you don't seem old enough to have an 18 year old!:D - doesn't it seem like just yesterday that we were all that age?

Looks like it is a banking kind of day! I'm spending the lunch break balancing the books. Think this might be a habit to continue every day for the next few weeks! Gives me time while the brain is still awake to focus, instead of during the usual evening fog.

Trying to figure out how to pay down the debt (and not incur more) while still paying all the bills...

OH was made redundant the start of September (the day we came back from vacation ) - he has a bit of a payoff from them, but it won't go far so he's looking & looking some more...

Though I don't track it in my siggy, we've managed to knock 1700 of his credit card debt (lots of which was my spends from moving across the pond.)
    4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! (24 OCT 2016)

A minute ago he was five..........

Right - sleeves up - banks ahoy.

I know what you mean there. I can't believe my DD is 5. I mean where has the time gone? DS will be one next month as well  where are my babies?? It's quite scary that I feel like I'm missing things as they grow up.

    Sorry :o

xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • Sorry lovelies been AWOL off seeing the boy child (man child) at the weekend and pickign up the dd from airport from her dads.

    I hope you're all well?

We've had snow here and its gone but its cold, aside a leached bank account due to fun, not much to report.

Need to get back on the straight and narrow as we're hoping to get away at xmas for more fun and we need to batten the hatches and save up/live frugally inbetween now and then.

No scheduled trips away (aside work) before then last week was taken over by planes trains and automobiles.

    Today

    Check banks
Check expenses and write them up
    Write invoice for work
Check other work for timesheet I can put in for garden guru being away
Write firm letter to ex-landlords solicitor (for deposit)
Send back tax disc for old car and do that online if I can
Write letter to council about random CC payments I can''t remember which are off three times earlier in the year.

Aside eating out of the cupboards and being a good lass today. I think that's me!

    :)

Hope you're all good - sorry been awol, it got a bit bonkers last week.

    :)

hi, glad it was worth it lol I can just imagine you actually laying down.

You probably won't appreciate this but if you've ever watched the Wartime Farm series which has been on tv of late i always imagine the lady on there as being very similar to yourself. Not sure it's a compliment or not but she always seems to be up for a challenge and a laugh and gets stuck in with her favourite subjects.

Hi Pippi, will catch up with your diary when I can. Glad you're doing well.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J
