So I'm 96 pounds overdrawn in the fat controller, but the monster CC payment is off. Hurray. I must put the rent into a savings account and forget about it for the next 10 days.
I'm clear on one CC - Mr Captain has a balance of a bit fat zero
Lucifer stands at 1450 still or there abouts, and I must check that bank next.
Huge electricity bill final settlement for the old house combination of head in sand, head in sand, and no meter readings for the last year - so when the heating storage thingmy's went on the fritz I didn't notice how much we relied on electric plug in heaters to keep the kids warm.
The total bill is £1600:eek:. looks like we were underpaying by a considerable amount - but I've phoned them and they are happy with a £100 month settlement until I can tackle the landlords about their contribution due to dodgy heating which theynever fixed.
It took me a week to phone the electric folk but to be honest once I had they listened and were really helpful.
So all in all - the amount in for the tunnel has been consumed by the electric bill. Doesn't that sound typical?
I've expenses to write for this month so must do that and overtime to bill for.
I've just filled in the PVG things for work and this week I'll get 6 or so hours for filling in for the garden guru chap at 'tother' work.
And, I must write a few invoices for gardening work.
Its just vile outside so I'm in with the fire on (free wood) and aside that no heating on here.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

 to heating bill. Hope you get some luck with the landlords though. They can't leave you without heating so they should at least contribute

Thanks guys to be honest I'm not holding up much hope.
Now that the weekend is half way through I guess I can catch up on life on here! Worked today and have Sunday off.
Yippee
Home made lunches etc so far, had a fabulous day yesterday and was gorgeously sunny. Same today which is strange as it felt as if 100 tonnes of water fell as rain through the night. Localised flooding etc. Now just gorgeous.
I guess that's the way to have rain.
