Egg Cash ISA - 6.05% (merged)

We put our cash ISAs with Egg last year. They offered a good rate at the time. Then they reduced it to a miserly 1.55% and I also found they would not allow transfers in from even worse ISA accounts. Now my 2008/9 Egg ISA has become an orphan closed account and they're offering nearly 1% more for new ISA money. That is reekingly dishonest and I will never touch Egg in my life again. Nor any other provider with multiple rates for different ISAs - ie prepared to shaft existing customers.0

There's absolutely no reason why it should be an 'orphan' - vote with your feet. Choose a new ISA provider that accepts Cash ISA transfers and offers a better rate of interest; complete the new provider's ISA transfer form and let them transfer your poor Egg ISA into their better account. Now my 2008/9 Egg ISA has become an orphan closed account and they're offering nearly 1% more for new ISA money.0
