Scottish Power £70 cashback deal

I switched to Scottish Power via the link in the MSE newsletter so I could get £70 cashback. As I understand it from the newsletter, I would get £30 from Moneysupermarket and a further £40 if I used the link. Mt switchover only completed on 30 August but I started the switch on 19 July as I have a mail confirming this from Moneysupermarket. I noticed today that I got £30 in my bank account from Moneysupermarket. Whilst its fab hey paid out so quickly, why haven't I received the £70? Has this happened to anyone else ? Not sure where to go to ask for my remaining £40.
Thanks
Thanks

I had a similiar deal when transferring to SP and went via this money site.
When the transfer was complete I received the usual cash back from the Energyline but not the part from this site. I rang the Energy line and they said it would be about a month later. I still did not receive it and complained to SP who made a goodwill payment for the amount due to me.
Eventually the second part arrived in the bank account that I had already received as a goodwill payment so did quite well.
I would suggest you phone the site you went through.0 -
I have switched to Scottish Power via this MSE website whilst the £70 cashback offer was still valid. My understanding is that £30 cashback would be given by MoneySupermarket and the remaining £40 would be given by MSE, albeit after around 3 months. This was what was said on the MSE newsletter of August 29:
4. Fix until Nov 2013 (plus £70 cashback, ends Thur). Also with no exit fees, Scottish Power’s* fix is slightly less, but the price is only locked in for one winter. TO GET CASHBACK: until midnight Thurs, compare & sign up via this link to MoneySup* for £70 dual fuel cashback (paid c. 3 mths after switching).
The links being from MSE to MoneySupermarket who then linked to Scottish Power.0 -

I don't think MSE pay any cashback; they simply provided a unique link that is the only way the cashback can be obtained.
But if you really think MSE provide the cashback, I suggest you write to Martin and demand the money you claim he owes you.

Give him 14 days to cough up, and if he doesn't, tell him you will commence legal action without further notice.
You can do that using MCOL.
... and I wish you the best of British luck in your attempts!

Presumably it's "the same account details as entered in the payment details section of the application form" that the OP used when filing their application via moneysupermarket.com.

Yes must have been - admittedly it did worry me! I did get a mail back from moneysupermarket who did say the £30 was for dual fuel switchover. I have mailed them back to explain the deal and who can I expect to pay the remaining £40. Also if it is MSE, how do they pay it? They wouldnt have my account details and Ive received no confirmation or mails from MSE.:heart2: Cookiepops :heart2:0 -
I used the link to transfer at the end of July and the transfer was completed on the 9/9 but I have heard nothing since
Do you know how long the cashback will take to arrive0 -

Quidco says 5 months
MSE says 3 months.
Come back and tell us how long it actually took.0 -

14 days should now be up.
Did you follow the advice from OhReally?
Did MSE pay you then?
If so, how was it paid?

MSE do not pay you. MSM do.

" Ends Thurs: £70 cashback on new cheapest deal. Sign up to any Scottish Power tariff via MoneySupermarket* by midnight Thurs to get £40 dual fuel (£20 per fuel) cashback plus £30 on top (£17.50 for single switches) via this MSE link (paid within 3 mths). "

When will payment be made?
Payment will usually be made within 2-3 months (certain cases may take up to 6-months) after you complete your change. This allows sufficient time for the transfer to complete and the supplier to notify us this has happened."
