Debt Free By 30 - Mission Possible?

Aiming for a NSD today. Instead of buying the new Mumford&Sons album, I'm listening to it on Spotify
Currently my 'Debt Manager' app (I paid for it pre-LBM & it is rather good) is telling me I'll be CC free by November 2014. Of course I'll have the overdraft to pay off then but that should be easy after the CC and I'm going to aim to do both by 25th December 2014. I will find a way!
Snowballing has saved me EIGHT YEARS of repayments. Insane!!!
Also, realised last week I haven't updated my student loan info for years so have sent off a change of address letter. I'm hoping I've very nearly paid it off. I pay £101 a month at the moment and last time I looked (4yrs ago) it was £4ksomething to pay. Fingers crossed it's nearly finished then it's another £100 towards to CC every month!!CC1 - [STRIKE]£8746[/STRIKE] £2801 71%LBM September 2012 - Current DFD Oct 14

I love Spotify! It's saved me loads of money this year :j
The snowball calculator is great! My cards all have the same APR, so I can't do a proper 'snowball', but it is nice to see how long it will take to clear it all, etc.
Fingers crossed on your student loan! I'd love an extra £100 a month; it'd take two months off my debt repayments!Swagbucks Amazon gift vouchers 2014 125/250

Thanks Hannah!
I did a SOA but realised even before I started that all my money goes on eating out, takeaways, makeup, magazine etc etc General lovely evil stuff!
My outgoings are fairly minimal (£450 for rent & home bills) so it literally is The Stuff I need to cut out.
Aiming for my third NSD is a row today
PS Hunger Games are brillo! I love the film too.CC1 - [STRIKE]£8746[/STRIKE] £2801 71%LBM September 2012 - Current DFD Oct 14

Snowballing is a complete revelation! Having a finish date is really motivating and I'm determined to beat it...somehow!! :jCC1 - [STRIKE]£8746[/STRIKE] £2801 71%LBM September 2012 - Current DFD Oct 14

NSD Challenge ~ October 50 -
Should be my third NSD is a row today – hurrah! This is actually quite addictive! I hope I continue to see it as a game rather than a horrible scary challenge!
Other MSE steps taken;- I’ve actually written out a meal plan that include lunches! Usually I’m a stop off at Waitrose kinda gal – Not anymore! :money:
- I’ve shelved my beloved Chanel foundation (£32) in favour of Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum[FONT="] (around £8) [/FONT]
. I have enough for another few days with the Chanel but I’ll save it for special occasions
- I've signed up to OnePoll. Look after the pennies & all that...
- Unfortunately I was declined the 0% credit card. I recently checked my credit rating and it’s ‘good’ but I’ve moved a few times in the past few years and I have a lot of credit available so I’ll just have to stick with 25% for now.
Having a rubbish day at work. Trying really hard to feel motivated but I'm surrounded by people who just moan about their pay when in reality they're lucky to have a job considering how lazy/rubbish/negative they are. Grr!! :ACC1 - [STRIKE]£8746[/STRIKE] £2801 71%LBM September 2012 - Current DFD Oct 14

Morning best only k, have you thought about contacting your current card providers and seeing what decal you can get or cancelling the ones you don't use, reduce the credit limit on the rest and then try again? Need to consider if this is worthwhile doing or getting loan at lower rate to transfer card at 25% to instead?Start info Dec11
