It is a half price deal BUT there are a couple of caveats.
1. You don't get £50 M&S vouchers
2. You have to take the HD package at £5ish per month.
The mse offer you got £50 M&S vouchers and you didn't have to take the HD Pack.

As hopefully people have seen in this week's MSE weekly newsletter out today, 3000 more codes are being released tomorrow. I'm delighted with the offer having got a code last week and my Sky package was installed on Monday. Thank you MSE.0

Hello,
I ordered Sky from one of the 50% discount codes last Friday 14/09/2012 and subsequently placed an order for the basic Entertainment Package along with the Sports Pack.
I received the quote which stated £11.25 per month and £10 upfront (which has already been debited from my bank account).
At no point did it mention any other figures which i would be expected to pay on a monthly basis other than £11.25 per month.
I have since contact @SkyHelpTeam on Twitter and "Dave" has assisted with my query of this monthly amount.
He has advised that "The offer is for 50% off, so £21.25 would be the correct amount, but you are within your rights to cancel if you choose to. Dave."
It's still reasonable to pay £21.25 as it's obviously still 50% off the £42.50 you would usually pay, but i feel really misled by their website as i was convinced that i should be paying the £11.25 per month as originally stated.
Can anyone please advise what they have done?
Thanks.
Steven

They have added £11.25 per month and £10 upfront to make your monthly figure of £21.25, seems very cheap to me, however if you would like it cheaper cancel your sports and then it would be more like £11.25. btw i am paying in excess of £60 as an existing customer.0

I only want Sky TV for the sports so i can't do that.topsaver79 wrote: »They have added £11.25 per month and £10 upfront to make your monthly figure of £21.25, seems very cheap to me, however if you would like it cheaper cancel your sports and then it would be more like £11.25. btw i am paying in excess of £60 as an existing customer.
I just find it really misleading how they do not tell you exactly how much you will be paying each month, it's basic stuff this surely!?0 -
Yes, there been a lot of talk about Sky not showing the right payment figures. Basically in my case the whole first year showed £13.75 when I knew from what MSE had told us that my package would cost £23.75. Because you pay £10 upfront on joining that left £13.75 for the first month. It reverts to £23.75 after that and nowhere on the payment page do Sky tell you that. They should be getting it right obviously.0
