Should haver closed midnight 24th but Sky ended it midnight 23rd.
Perhaps if they put ends 11:59pm instead, then there would be no problems deciding when the offer actually ended.0 -
I received a Sky 50% off offer code from the site last Friday afternoon. The site clearly states that the expiry date is midnight on Monday 24 September---tonight.
On entering the code today on Sky order form a message appeared stating your code has expired. Only 7 hours left to expiry---any suggestions please.

The Sky man text me the evening before and showed up right on time Friday afternoon to put ours in, he was polite and helpful and did a clean and decent job in the pouring rain, despite having to run cable the full length of the outside of our house (dish is on the front, tv is at the back), he even ran the cable along the line of the paint where it's white on top and brick on the bottom so it doesn't really notice.
We're very happy. We watched three great movies this weekend in our room while our son was busy killing zombies with his friends in Halo in the living room (where the VM box is). We spent a happy Sunday morning sitting on the bed watching John Wayne movies and we both agree that that alone was worth paying the first months £10.75 for."There is no substitute for time."
Competition wins:
2013. Three bottles of oxygen! And a family ticket to intech science centre. 2011. The Lake District Cheese Co Cow and bunny pop up play tent, cheese voucher, beach ball and cuddly toy cow and bunny and a £20 ToysRus voucher!0 -
Rang Sky on 08442 414141 and spoke to very helpful operator who apologised and admitted that Sky were at fault with the early expiry time.
He was able to offer me a replacement package at 50% off but had to include HD. So a little more expensive than the basic deal but still pretty good I think.

@candycanes
My situation was the same as your's. Placed an order last week but heard nothing since. Set up was meant to be today so went on Sky's live chat and they couldn't find any trace of my order, neither could Sky sales when I rang them. Their explanation being the order hadn't gone though properly when I placed it online (even though I got a confirmation , which I printed off with my order number!) and I also got a confirmation email. They have now given me another number to ring which deals with offers and say I should be able to get the same deal over the phone, so will give that a try and see what happens...0 -
Just to update. Gave the number a call. 08442 411686. Through to Sky's Indian call centre, where the first person had me hanging on then just disappeared. Called back and got a helpful chap who processed the exact same order I placed with the 50% discount. He assures me the order has gone through this time, and the set up date will be the 28th.
So fair play to Sky for sorting it.0 -
Having mine fitted on Saturday, you know how some companies text/ring and say they will be there within the hour etc,do Sky do that at all?0

Hi guys...
I signed up to the 50% offer during the initial 1000 codes launch.
Signed up for Skyworld £55 to £27.50...
First bill came to me totally £45.50. Queried with live assistant and she mentioned she did not see any offers on my account ! Told her I have confirmation from LovedigitalTV on email that it is for £27.50. She mentioned she will get back to me via email from another team.
Guess what, today received response. Here it is:
" was concerned to hear about the query you raised regarding your offer. Let me assure you that this is not typical of the service you are entitled to expect as one of our customers.
As a company which very much values its customers, we invest considerable resources in staff training and monitoring procedures to maintain the quality of our customer service.
To resolve your query I have applied 6 months half price TV on to your account; please view this by using your interactive services or clicking on the link below, I trust this satisfactorily resolves your issue."
Totally disappointing. Trying to escalate now, late this night trying to email them and email service on Sky website is down!!!
Anyone else having this issue?0 -
I signed up and got a code earlier, just came to sign up through the link provided only to realise I accidentally closed down the tab with my code...is there any way I can retrieve my code? It wasn't emailed to me but it was specific to my postcode so there must be some way?
Can anyone help?0
