SKY are the pits and a bunch of liars:mad:
Just to follow up of my case. After placing the order for Sky TV package with entertainment and Sky sports and expecting to pay just £11.25 for both of them Sky didn't honour it and sent me a cancellation email.
They told me they tried to contact me by phone to discuss my package but didn't. I had no missed calls or voicemail from them. They just sent me a cancellation email. Disgusting Customer service
Sky are a bunch of crooks and liars who did not honour this promotion from me, so beware anyone else who wants this deal:mad:0 -

I think you knew it wasn't £11.25 when you saw it on screen, it was half-price after all and if you do the maths it's £21.25 IIRC.0 -

I disagree, totally misleading, no indication at all that Sky were going to take out £21.25 per month from my bank a/c. The customer shouldn't be expected to work out the maths. It should be stipulated by SKY that £21.25 would leave my bank a/c.
As I say a bunch of liars as they say they tried to call me to discus but never did. They just went ahead and cancelled my order:mad:0 -

So they should - you've clearly ignored the advice given to you by myself and many other MSE users over the last week or so.
You can bleat all you like but you WERE well aware it was an offer of 50% off (not 75%) and although the Sky site is very poorly laid out you should stop making a mountain out of a molehill, it's pathetic.Personal ISA Contributions Challenge - current £0 (as at 1 April 2014) / target £15,000 (deadline 31 Mar 2015)0 -

I kept a copy of what I was expected to pay. No way did it say I was going to pay £21.25 per month. Why should the customer have to work it out when Sky obviously can't.
Glad you agree it was poorly laid out. Whats pathetic is their lying customer service staff who according to the cancellation email were going to call me back, never did and went ahead and cancelled my order. I expect embarrassment was going to be all over there faces and couldn't face discussing it with me0 -
Please remember that asking for, or offering, codes by PM is not allowed on this forum - see this post.
Thanks.

The way the pricing of your package is done when added to the basket on the Sky website is very unclear. It was only because I had added it up in my head on the MSE website that I knew how much my package would come to every month, if I had done it via the Sky website I probably would have added more to my basket.
I almost think they made it deliberately confusing to encourage us to buy more than we would have originally.0 -
