The member of staff was wearing a FUEL COMPANY-branded T-shirt with the slogan "Ask me about Engine performance.

I used this as a startting point for a dialogue and asked him about Engine Performance.

    He didn't speak English.

    :wall:
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

I haven't done any for a while - am thinking of a sex change :D.

You'll never be able to afford a strapadictomy on GAP's wages. :)

I have not done ` a reveal ` job yet and I am a little unsure of doing one as you can imagine being a newbie :o

What, not even the premium ones
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

It's so annoying; I get confirmation requests for literally every report I submit these days....if I wasn't doing these visits for a premium rate, I'd have chinned them off ages ago. But I am so I've not :D

I got asked if I was with 2 OTHER workmen in a council van with the named company on the side of it! Maybe I should go for the sex op if they think I look like a man!
I wouldn't mind but GAP know I'm a woman which made it worse they even asked me APART from the fact I had to do the call alone!!

As long as they are OK or better at their job then it's much easier doing the reveal. If they were awful and they and you both know it I don't like the reveal...the look on the SA face...lol...anyway...just reveal and run. Get the photo done a little later in the day if you don't want to be out the front taking the picture straight after the reveal.

GAP seem to have acquired the overseas equivilent of the MF proof reading team. I've had requests to confirm timings less than 10 hours after a visit so I doubt it would have reached the client.

Also can I ask something please?

I have done a MF shoe shop with a reimbursement only. Bought some shoes but they dont fit the wedding outfit I was going to use them for. The colour I wanted was not in stock instore and I had to order them in. Can I take the shoes back? I does not say in the notes that I cant but I dont want a telling off! :o

Here's what I would do, it may not be 100% right but you won't get a row for it...

I'd take the shoes back but exchange then rather than refund them and drop MF a little note too.

The data validation takes place before (not after) the client received the data. After 24hrs, any subsequent query is via the client. I had a hot burger, cold chips scenario - all detailed, and 18 hours later I get the expected 'reply within 12 hours' email. This wanted timing confirmation and a description of the 'cool' chips. All details were already in the report.
