The visit I asked RA for an increase and was knocked back on is still sitting.

I got a Mimi special though today. A closed down GFK phone shop :p

Nice one. That's half the fee for doing jack all.

I am going to go round town and look out for closed shops and pinch them as soon as they go on hehehe.

I had similar to this with ESA and I don't quite understand it, not that I'm complaining as I just ask for more money but the whole "you're only allowed so many calls with this client" then they phone or email can you cover the call they asked you to cancel or they said you couldn't do  I'm guessing they are just trying to be fair and seeing if other shoppers take them? Dunno.

I'm being fair too by not depriving another shopper the opportunity to undertake an assignment requiring a lot of detailed information for very little reward :D

Got a TNS e-mail the other day advertising some unwanted supermarket visits. Volunteered for one, but also told them I'd done the same shop only 4 weeks earlier. Got assigned the visit, only to have it unassigned as I'd only done the 4 weeks earlier....fair enough.

Then, last week got a last minute phone call, asking me to do the visit ASAP at twice the fee. Cheers easy :)

Because they are paying above market rate for the job?
It also weds out those who want to skim off the easy jobs, I have seven of those booked and the test took 10 minutes.
