    eMailed their shoppers with all the emails visible, to everyone who got the email.

    And not just ONCE. If it was a one off, I would let them off, but they did it x 3 over a period of a few days. Plus the apology they gave was embarrassing. Shame on them!
  • I think it is called justifying yourself to the client;

    'look we have told them again that they must not tell anybody.It is not our fault, we have a confidentiality agreement that they all agree to. We will email them and tell them off.'

    TNS and client happy again. MS shoppers all laughing at the email, no-one loses. ;)

    Interesting e-mail from TNS and clearly for some shoppers it's a case of what goes around comes around. However, I would like to think the e-mails from TNS, that included personal e-mail address, was an honest mistake, albeit 3 times. A bit like the e-mail from RA I received the other day, that had over 300 shoppers' e-mail addresses.

    However, what some shopper has done is premeditated and extremely unprofessional and could, potentially, jeopardise the payment of premiums.

    Considering I'm due a juicy payment from TNS, possibly for the contract that has just been compromised, I will not be a happy bunny if I'm told that I will not now be paid.

    As does the tradeplating lark, and it's bloody quiet on that front!

    Might go on holiday....

    Note to self, remember the first rule of retail management.... never, ever, use the Q-word :naughty:

    Could just do with a few more paydays to go with it.
    Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

    just done a mystery shopper reveal in a health food store, it's the 2nd time I've done one of these and they're just so awkward. The employee has no idea what to do when you announce it, which is understandable and you feel awkward yourself. I'm thinking of the fee though to keep me at it.

    Just wondered why they do it this way? Surely other stores would just ring each other and be like oh i had this person who asked for this and they were a mystery shopper so they'd be looking out a bit more for mystery shoppers.

    They're trying to get me to do one, although I've done it twice as a reveal - for 2 different co's. No way would they not recognise me.
    A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

    Must admit, I've never entertained those reveal visits, just don't interest me and I think I would feel really awkward :o
