Yep it's bloody annoying to be questioned every time a report is submitted but I'm not annoyed enough to not accept the premiums on offer. I'm in this business to make money and even though they pay late, ask you what you look like, question your timings some months its only them that keep me hitting my target earnings.

Depends on area I guess but I'm out with them cause its too annoying plus I have to organise childcare so not worth it. The company in question should just watch cctv back to find out what they want to know rather than pestering us. I find it insulting in comparison to other ms work ive done. 'Can you confirm this is your description .........' As if im some sort of criminal. Shove it is all i can say

I don't confirm my description I just confirm the timings that they originally pay me to give. There is an option to add a pic on your profile. If you really want to know what I look like make this compulsory.

The number of complaints about them on here, it strikes me that they are a dishonest company who like to get a certain percentage of their shops completed for 'free'. Unfortunately, unless you seek advice and a lawyer which they know you won't for such low paid work- there is nothing you can do.

I have never done the famous fast food joint, as the company sacked me after a few months as I never was in a position to accept work. I hardly ever eat fast food, but the the few times I've been forced too, I always ask for a reciept ;-)

So I am being asked what time I entered and left and to confirm the timings plus a description of me that the manager has thought he has identified.
I take it from this that he will be watching carefully to find fault so that i dont get paid.

They'll be watching carefully to check that the report is right, there are bonuses which depend on it, and so the managers will try and get reports over-turned which they feel are unfair. They will also sometimes try to query timings in the hope that the shopper hasn't properly recorded them.

They know who the shoppers are because they'll check on CCTV, the identification is just there so that the MS company (or at least the one in question here) can confirm they've identified the right person. If they have identified the wrong person it would certainly IMO be wise to tell them otherwise you might risk end up not being paid.

Not all mystery shoppers are as precise about timings, and so they're trying to check everything is as it should be.

For some reason my GIPB*ster account has been suspended, has this happen to anyone else? I know of no reason why it should be. I emailed them 2 weeks ago, when I first spotted it, but have had no reply! (now there's a surprise!)

But did they pay you? Its irritating me & waiting for all outstanding payments & deactivating myself. I did this one perfectly and even gave excellent report. Timings were huge due to something on in the area - which i told them

Yeah, they paid me okay. I don't think the manager liked my comments, simple as that, but I knew my report was correct.

As Superliss said, I do MS to top up my salary and GAP make up quite a high percentage of my MS 'wage' and I'll continue to do their shops as long as they want me. IMHO, their premiums, for the amount of work involved, are excellent.

I was suspended in January, no messages from them. In April I broke their one main rule and found a number and phoned them. OK got through to the wrong team but the nice lady emailed someone in the correct team. I then got the email I should have got in January saying I was suspended! Then a few weeks later got reinstated. So wait a bit, I also sent mails to find out what was going on with no reply.
