Can I ask a question please? I've got my first clothes purchase reimbursement for a high st retailer next week. Its fee plus reimbursement of x amount. Do I just have to buy 1 item upto x amount or can I buy say 2 items upto x amount? It doesn't say in the job notes only says 'make a purchase'. Obviously if the 2 items cost over x amount then they'll only pay upto x amount. Confused.com!
I read "purchase an item" so I guess they'll just reimburse for one. On the same note, do socks count as clothing?0 -
I think it is 'illegal' to take photos in a shopping centre now. I witnessed a family taking a photo of their child at an indoor ice rink and the security guard stopped them, he said it is not allowed, so maybe MS companies need to think of that when shops are in centres. I avoid visits where you need to take a photo, I feel very uncomfortable about it.0

No it's not illegal at all. There's a lot of confusion over photographer rights, and most security guards have no idea of what the law is and just make it up. Even the police get it wrong quite a lot.
If you're on public land you can take photos of whatever you like - nobody can stop you, even if what you're photographing is on private ground.
If you're on private property, (ie, in a shopping centre) a security guard can't make you show them your photos, delete them, or demand your personal details. They are not the police. (And FYI, the police can't make you delete pictures either). You can basically ignore or refuse to answer anything they say up to the point they ask you to leave, at which point you must do so or you will be trespassing.
I know this from years of practising street photography. I find it's useful to carry one of these photographer's rights cards in my camera bag in case I get approached by a less knowledgable police officer/PCSO: http://www.amateurphotographer.co.uk/imageBank/i/image44.jpg0 -

The chicken place doing home delivery? That would be one step nearer to all being right in the world!Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
