Aren't the follow up calls part of the assessment?

I was not talking about the follow up calls as part of the assessment.

You must have lived a charmed life if you've never received calls from sales people after you've already said you are no longer interested/completed the brief! It is those calls I am referring too.

Argh did a phone shop for GR yesterday and got an email today saying I did the wrong one (which I did - there's more than one branch and I didn't read it properly). Very stupid of me

I've been doing this for years. Yesterday I forgot to ask a daft question in a bank. And I went to the wrong phone shop a few weeks back too. Happens to most of us I think.

Ah, I always say I've bought from another dealership, cuts the calls off at source.

  • More census questions on *** mine are for social networking so no idea whatsoever that would mean!

I saw the message telling me to update my census this evening - but it was the questions on social networking that I completed about a month ago. I wonder what's coming? Couldn't believe those audits on the other site - they went whoosh!

given you have no experience, no equipment, no means of independent travel I recommend you do not give up a job hoping to want to replace it with work from Market Force.i did say i was looking to make a bit of money on top of the the job i'm doing, not replace the job with MS (altho' i am looking for another f/t job

the first line of your post is very important and something you should rectify, it will enlighten you a whole lot.
thank you. there's so much of it, it'll take some time to get through!
You are unlikely to be the only person in your city doing work, and so will face competition from experienced and not so experienced new people alike. An offer from MF just means you get to apply for the jobs like every one else on a fastest finger first.
I do have a Blackberry but don't bother with paying for the BB internet/email service due to accessing emails at work and home (I wouldn't be on this site if wasn't a MSE!)

Firstly what Whitelabel said makes plenty of sense. There are two of us that I know on here that are based in Notts, and another that definitely travels to notts to do work. thanks for letting me that there are other Notts MSE MSs out there

Do you work in the city centre? not quite, but I travel from the centre to Mansfield for work

I book days of work sometimes to do a days circuit if possible. Hard work without a car, impossible to make it cost effective with MF.my gosh, didn't realise the lengths some ppl make to do a day's worth. does it pay more than your day's wage then?!!

Regarding a printer, unless you plan on printing everything at work then yes you will need one. Smart phone, no you don't need one but it is useful (well I think so). You at least need a camera to upload pics of receipts, shop pics.
I do have a 3-in-1 printer that i gave away to my parents' 2yrs ago but as they don't use it, i shall be reclaiming it this w/e:D . the Blackberry Curve I have is rather outdated and the pix on there are rather unclear compared to the more modern smartphones. I shall see about getting that updated (not sure when tho' as money's tight enough:D)

many thanks for your replies you two, am very appreciative for the sound advice that you have given me. I wasn't expecting much in the way of making that a load of money from this as it was only a bit of pin money really. as winter approaches, i'd have less time to spend on my allotment, so i'll have hours spare at the w/e.

can i ask two more questions?

are there time slots for these assignments where you need to be there specifically, say busy periods for retailers - lunchtime or w/ends where there's more footfall? (depending on the nature of the business obviously).

now that i've completed my profile and my defined areas, how long would i expect these assignments will come in for MF?

    thanks so much :p
