I do merchandising as well as MS. I've been out the back in all the supermarket brands and have seen the mystery shopper reports on noticeboards, but I've never seen any photographs of shoppers.

Thanks pet. I must be special then. No other family members get the same treatment like me. Oooooh get me indeed!

Not seen you on here in ages Becles, you OK pet?

Errr no i have not missed anything.

If you think there is ANY free parking at or close to the Arndale then sorry you are wrong. I worked in the Arndale tower for 2 years and it costs a fortune.

How can they possibly know the fee in advance when you say its done on a job and knock basis and you are paid for the hours worked.

I take your word for the parking on that particular site, not having been, however at all the others I know they have had free parking. As stated, parking costs will be covered for the time required spent working, if required, in cash at that time along with payment.
    ETA
Ive just had it clarified that this site is actually in Stretford not Arndale... despite the paperwork from the client saying otherwise...
there is still a parking charge but only a few pounds, which will still be covered...

People will know the hourly rate in advance, know they are going to do roughly 6 hours work and know what the approx fee for that visit will be...6 hours x the hourly rate = the fee... Known in advance at which point they can say yes that sounds fine, or no, not for me.

I'm ok - thanks for asking sweetheart xx

Just so busy with merchandising at the moment and it's all heavy work pulling stock out for festive displays. Looking forward to Christmas just so I can have a rest :rotfl:
Here I go again on my own....
  • I did search but apologise if already mentioned.

Appears TNS have lost their supermarket main visits. I wonder if they will appear elsewhere.

    Regards Paul

The shopping mall in Stretford used to be called the Stretford Arndale, which explains the confusion. I'm in the area, but have 15 jobs booked in already for next week so better not take on anymore. Hope you find someone.

The client isn't doing them at this time expect something different with those supermarkets in the new year, that client still has lots of other work with TNS and I doubt they will show up elsewhere.

They may check the receipt number and look at the cctv.

Nothing worth shop lifting there. Now if it was Harvey Nicks, then maybe.

    I think I'm famous. I'll be on I'm A Celeb next year. :D:D:D

Got a day off MS tomorrow as I am at work. But Wednesday and Thursday, I will be doing 40+ visits. Eeeeek. Having to turn various other stuff down as I don't think I can manage. Is everyone else getting absolutely shed loads?
