(not entirely sure if I can mention company name)
But is anybody else having trouble with payment from Customer Perceptions?

    Do you mean Customer Perspectives?

Have you sent an invoice. Not done much for them, but they were one of the better payers, ie I received a cheque approx 7 days after invoicing.

Nope, customer perceptions.ie. They've paid me before this, but now I've been contacting them for the last three months waiting for a payment (while doing other jobs for them) and they kept saying they'll contact the account manager, or I get a reply off the account manager saying they'll arrange a pay date as soon as possible (two months ago)

All of last night merchandising went to plan with the estimated times being pretty much accurate.
One location had an estimation of 5 hours took 6.5, all staff paid for 6.5 hours at end of shift and got free local transport home. Had it been fixed fee they wouldnt have got paid for that extra 1 1/2 hours...

most of the previous listed locations are now filled but have confirmation of some more merchandising visits for next week in Burton, Rugby and Uttoxeter.
Average 5-6 hours each for these (still waiting on exact details) if local to these areas, available and interested let me know asap.

Is it the "mariah carey / whitney houston / celine dion" like chocolate shop or the other one? I've only done the other one and it's rather poncey and over the top. Makes a perfect gift.

It's the Mariah Carey one (great analogy BTW! :rotfl:)

  • Hi,

I have done a few airport visits and was wondering if anyone knew if you can claim back fuel on getting to/from the airport on these visits for tax purposes?

    Thanks

    thanks

tonights took an extra 2 hours so all staff fully paid up again and mileage covered. I def think a fairer way than fixed fee when you dont know exactly what needs to be done in a store.
Still have some places avail for next weeks, although thankfully all this weeks now covered.
Potential for a LOT of work in the new year as getting a lot of positive feedback from the client and arranging discussions for further projects on an ongoing basis.
Im Not going to take on any big companies direct, but if I can cut out the middle man so to speak for even a small slice of the pie and pay people a better, fairer wage, then hopefully those who want to, will benefit too. Obviously those who think I shouldnt do jobs this way and turn it down hoping for failure, will miss out ;)
