Godwin's law triggered in an opening post? Well done sir.

It's all over before it starts.

In my lifetime there has never been a more vile government than this condem.
nothing has ever come close to this governments treatment of its disabled citizens apart from the 3rd reich.

You Tories enjoy it while you can,but beleive me your time is coming.

Every once in a while, we get intelligent analyses of the performance of the current UK Government. They are argued rationally, make sense, and are articulated by educated people with structured syntax, good spelling, worthy of a scholar.

I commend this post for failing on every single point.

Do you honestly believe that the most successful political party in the UK really consists of haters of poor people?

And the jokes keep on coming.....

Do you ever look at the opinion polls? I can't even remember the last time the Tories had a lead over the Labour Party...

Here take a look for yourself

I'll grant you, this government is not quite as hated as the Thatcher Government....

He's talking in terms of elections won, not meaningless snapshots in the middle of their term.

Well they 'polled' more than labour in the last election.
Granted that was only actual votes rather than a few thousand opinions extrapolated out but nonetheless............

"hated Thatcher government' - is that the same hated govt that kept getting voted back in?

The Tories didn't actually win the last election....the Tories haven't actually won an election since 1992. That's 20 years ago.

  • I'm quite prepared to wager that the Tories won't be in Government after May 2015. Their unpopularity will grow in parallel to the lack of growth in this country's GDP. Their policies are probably broadly correct, but it's too fast and too much, more than the average man can bear. I've always thought of myself as a Conservative, but they won't be getting my vote next time.

I agree. The sooner these people get kicked out of office, the better. The objective of this loathsome government is to save money by hurting ordinary working and middle class people while keeping the wealthy safe and secure. Mind you, 'Tory' Blair and the one-eyed Scot weren't much better. I just hope that Miliband will return Labour to its roots and actively work towards a more equal society.

Hopefully it will be another 20 years before they win again :T
