A wedding is a solemn occasion. It’s also a special event by which two willing hearts and minds unite by an endless bond of love. Hence, the dress of the bride and the bridegroom should be thoughtfully selected to reflect the meaning of the grand occasion. The wedding dress of the bride comes in bright, auspicious colors styled uniquely in conformance with the ceremonial importance as determined by the culture and religion, which sanctifies the marriage.0

I am not getting my wedding dress off of ebay. I was too nervous but I am getting from a lady who has a website and also a facebook page. She offers a range of dresses and also allows you to completely design yours. She is completely up front and explained that she and her designer get them made in China (in a reputable place) and they are then shipped for her to inspect and you to try on. Her dresses are incredibly resonable. I am getting my wedding dress and BM dress from her. I must stress however that I have not got my dresses yet but people I know have and they have been very pleased. She is in contact with her brides via facebook any time I need her and has been so accommodating with all my changes that I made to my dress! If you seach fro "My big fat gorgeous wedding" on facebook you will find her.0

Both myself and a friend of mine are getting married in the near future and we were just looking on eBay last night at the dresses. It certainly did seem too good to be true, but we've both figured that it's a risk that's worth taking; if it doesn't work out, we've only "wasted" £80 in her case and £66 in mine!
Believe me, I would like the perfect dress, but it seems silly to spend thousands on a dress that I'm only going to wear once. I'd much rather that money went on the party!
And at that price, I'm considering getting a short wedding dress made for the night-time bash (after first dance etc). Two dresses for the price of a standard veil!
Will let you know how it goes.0 -
I also ordered a wedding dress from a company called Artsy Wedding.com - NEVER EVER deal with these people.
I selected a replica dress and it arrived, it was so cheap - the material was ridiculous! Beading started to fall off the dress and it was cheaply made.
i returned the dress and paid for the courier to send it back, they refused the item numerous times had the cheek to claim they had received it and all was well.
Got a call from the courier company stating that customs are demanding the tariffs to be paid - they said they had paid it and Artsy had charged me half of this which they did not and THEN i had to pay for customs - so well and truly i paid for a dress which was a total joke, i paid half of the cost of their tariffs (which they claim) and then i had to pay customs.
NEVER DEAL WITH THEM. ITS A TOTAL SCAM!0 -

I thought this and when the dress arrived the quality was so shocking I laughed! Total waste of £50. I am going to sell it on as fancy dress.0 -

I had my dress from Ebay (Chinese seller). I paid £79.99 for the dress, and £20 for the petticoat, including delivery. I absolutely love it. It's hand made to the measurements I gave them. I dread to think what I would have paid hereStill looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0
