We bought my daughters from ebay. It's a brand new Maggie Sotero, normally £1500. Cost £128 including postage! Bride changed her mind apparently! Some people have more money than sense. :)
    I Believe in saving money!!!:T

they are awful. Really poor quality copies, nasty cheap material like a net curtain with zips where there should be buttons, cotton where there should be satin and a very poor cut. I paid £180, can't get my money back and have ended up having to pay out again for the actual gown I had tried on in a bridal shop as I would have been embarassed to wear the one they sent me. All in all a pretty awful experience and a waste of money right before my wedding that i could have done without!

As far as the sweat shop argument goes.
Ask yourself what would the person be doing if they weren't in a sweat shop?
For example would they be unemployed and scouring rubbish tips or on the game?

I'm not condoning sweat shops but by giving these people your custom you may be saving them from a worse fate.

Just received my wedding dress which i bought on ebay from a Chinese factory. It was custom made and they got the measurements spot on. It cost a total of €107 including postage and it is absolutely stunning :j The material is beautiful and the quality of workmanship is excellent, its boned and fully lined. They're not all selling inferior quality dresses, this one had good feedback but i was still a little nervous about what was going to arrive but its perfect :D

Hi SJMC - what shop on ebay did you buy your dress from? I've just started wedding planning and have found the PERFECT dress on ebay but I'm scared of going for it and being dissapointed! The shop only has 1 negative feedback out of 759 which I think is good! Advice please!! :)

Accept that some days you're the pigeon, and some days you're the statue. Only fools are statues every day. (15.09.12 cant wait!)
