Hi there Sammz!
I'm glad you got your money backJuly Win: Nokia 58000 -
Hi, can anyone offer me any advice...my daughter had her hair cut yesterday, and recieved the worst cut i have ever seen. my daughter is very shy and did not like too say anything at the time and left the salon and came home sobbing her heart out.
I called the salon, and experienced a very hostile response. I took my daughter back into the salon, where my daughter had to experience the owner, manageress and the stylist who had cut her hair stood over her shouting at her. When i intervened i was told to shut up as they were speaking to the client and it had nothing to do with me. They told us a junior stylist had done the cut so what else did we expect, we were not told that she was a junior and when i mentioned this, they said i should have known that from the price, although the cost was the same as my regular very experienced hairdresser.
Myself and my daughter experienced appalling treatment, with them constantly shouting at us, arguing with us and not listening to us. I was called a "silly woman" and my daughter was told "there is the door, use it".
I would very much appriciate any advice on how i could possibly make a complaint about this salon, and the shocking treatment that myself and daughter recieved.....0 -
You can go to the http://www.haircouncil.org.uk/ to see if they are registered and if so complain there

stand outside with a placard or just tell anyone going near how badly treated you were and how appaling service they gave you.. word of mouth is great, sometimes you get told to mind your own business other times people just wont go in because they embarressed someone is there saying these things
but it will get you noticed and them noticed and if you clever warn the local rag about what your going to do .... been there done it and got what i was afterThose we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,

That's utterly shocking treatment! Name and shame them!!
If they're listed on any of those review websites, then give them a terrible review, as they deserve! (just google the salon name + review).
Is it a chain of hairdressers? If yes, then write to the "headquarters", take photos as evidence, tell them exactly what they said, and make sure that you get an apology from these rude people.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

Standing outside with a placard does work especially if you do it on a day like Saturday.
Just make sure you are on the public part of the pavement and if they threaten you with the police tell them to go ahead.I'm not cynical I'm realistic
(If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)0 -
thanks for the advice everybody : )
If i was to pursue and take placks outside the hairdressers doe's anybody have any idea's of what i could write on them that would be really strong and maybe shock the hairdressers?
