In fairness to TamA, I don't think he is Servet in discuss, if you think about it, when joining MSE it asks you for a username. Anyone who saw Watchdog would know that he would not want to answers MSE's request for a username.

If he was to join and MSE asked for a username, surely he would have joined as "Itsnotimportant"

But from the utter stupidity of that post and inability to understand even the basic rule of law, it is likely to be someone attached to Servat's mob......

I need to watch this on iPlayer - the car dealer bit sounds good and apparently they had a guy from Wonga on who Annie completely bamboozled and he promised customers a refund plus interest at the same rates Wonga charge, then did some comedy back-pedalling.

Was so funny to watch! I love Annie on Watchdog.

The person you quoted IS FROM 5 star cars. That is why they are defending them.

Family friend has lost over £2k with them (for all I know it could actually be you!) and is in the same boat as you. Very bad company.

    What goes around comes around..

Sorry, when I say our money I mean the money that the BBC paid them as in BBC Licence fee payers money.
  • Ah ok, perhaps you should have made that a bit clearer in your last post :)
  • I had a terrible experience with these dealers and I'm in the process of putting together a case for the small claims court, but it sounds like Five Star Cars has /unfortunately/ been burnt to the ground by an angry mob: (see hounslowchronicle website)

The owner of this company is easily located: Asif Adnaan
Director ID : 916013787 There are free company director check websites that will give you more info. Next job is to persue a claim agains him personally as I imagine his company won't be around long now. Interestingly the director-check shows he's recently been appointed director of a couple of new companies. Presumably all the dodgy car stock that vanished from the Brentford premises will appear there to be sold to more unsuspecting customers.

Not sure where you got that bit from.

Would not surprise me if they did it themselves.
  • Thanks maninthestreet. MSE wouldn't let me post that link for some reason.

It now appears that the Director of Five Star Cards is attempting to dissolve the company (presumably in an attempt to avoid the growing number of claims against his company) duedil.com (company #07638253) shows he's given "Dissolution Notice In Gazette" on 11 Sept 2012. As far as I can work out (IANAL) this may be illegal if the company has been trading in the last three months. My complaint goes back further than this, so its possible they ceased trading in July - can anyone confirm or contradict this?

Angry mob turn up at dealership demanding their money back. A few days later the place is burnt down. My hunch that the two were related!
