Five Star Cars - Watchdog

That was the most disturbing bit of footage from a car dealer ive seen. Shocking.

And I dont watch Watchdog that often either.

Who the hell does Servat think he is? I feel for the people who have bought from him in the past and I hope no one does ever again.

I agree. Pity car dealerships can't be regulated.
  • Which 5 Star Cars Garage was it? Servat is not a very nice guy. Don't buy a car from these people .

A friend of the family bought a car from these sharks a few weeks back. 20 miles away on the m25 it broke down with a failed head gasket. Car went back, over a month later still no refund.

Servats behaviour on the show was shocking but not surprising. He's probably Albanian and taking money for old rope to finance some sc*m of the earth fraudulent activity elsewhere.

I liked the way he told Matt he'd get a refund "When I'm dead". I'm sure after the way he's just pee'd off the nation that he may need to be very careful and almost paranoid. Might even be an idea if he leaves!

    Also trading in Brentford as:
    State Motors
    Credit Crunch Cars
    5 Star Cars

    5*'s website is now offline.

The family friend still has the V5 for the car and that will explain all the missing V5s. Unfortunately it doesn't explain the cash vanishing as the family friend hasn't had a refund and the car has probably already been resold!

Yes they were dreadful people, well that Servat fellow particularly, but who doesn't check tyres on a prospective purchase?!
  • Not everyone knows how to check out a car.

Yeah this is true. Only in the used car market does it seem acceptable to hide serious defects!
  • If I was in the police I would be all over Servat's !!!, and what a group of thugs he has. How are they allowed to work here? I am going to follow this story in the press.

I need to watch this on iPlayer - the car dealer bit sounds good and apparently they had a guy from Wonga on who Annie completely bamboozled and he promised customers a refund plus interest at the same rates Wonga charge, then did some comedy back-pedalling.
