  • I tried to do this at work but it wasn't working. Had to leave and left my code on my desk. Just checked the page to get my code again and the box has gone. Looks like I'm going to miss out
  • What I would also like to add is that I got an error even before I got a chance to enter the code. Then on my iPad I got to enter the code seconds later and was then told to call Sky. It seem obvious that Sky' was not technically geared up for or perhaps they realised they would make more money by having all the MSEers call them rather than give away Sky packages.

    I've just got unlimited broadband, weekend calls, line rental and sky world for 42.25 per month for 6 months and 49.75 for the last 6, chuffed!

    Despite what it says on the MSE page - and they've put the link back in - I'm still getting the same message about them having technical problems with their code checker.

    Major PR FAIL on the part of Sky here that they could easily turn around if they wanted to...

    They just called us back, took the code and processed the deal. £23.50 a month for Sky HD for 12 months.

    Hang on........it seems to be working. Sky is now quoting the correct (discounted) price for my package. I'll go through the checkout and report back!

    Originally we called the number they gave on the website - it seemed to only apply to existing customers though so just pressed any number until we got a human and then got transferred. Spoke to someone called Amir who took our number and promised to call back, which, amazingly, he just did.

    Good luck to those still waiting - but just to confirm, I think it is worth trying again or at least giving them time to call back. Their customer service number is 08442 414141.
