Iphone 5- launching TODAY (12/9/12)

Just curious as to who is intending to buy an Iphone 5?

I have a 4 so it is time to upgrade, primarily because my girlfriend wants to inherit my 4!

You'll need the iPhone 6 when 4G gets established, since the 5 won't support it.

I'm sure that wont stop all the fan boys buying this one... and then buying the iphone 6 or whatever it will be called also.

People who buy apple products generally have more money than sense. Your paying through the nose for 'good software' as open it up and a lot of parts are made by the likes of Samsung etc.

Fair play to apple though, they created a huge hype over a product and no one can ever knock them for that. What you can knock though is the people who say 'Oh my god I simply cannot live without an iphone... NO other phone compares' and then all they do is text and look on facebook like no other phone in the world can do that?

Is that why even Samsung said iPhone OS is better then Android?

I find it odd for Samsung to say that a few days before iPhone release. It seem Samsung want Apple to sell more iPhone.

Read my post... When you purchase an apple product your paying for 'Good software' not 'Good hardware'.

The hardware apple offer is vastly inferior to what other companies offer, be that in a computer or phone. What apple are good at however is tailoring their software to get the most out of it.. perhaps more than the likes of Microsoft or Google Android.

Apple are just corporate bullies - you should compare it with a HTC One X and you will see the iphone isnt so great after all

The price of Samsung S3 which as per Samsung do not have the OS as good as Iphone is priced same as the current iPhone.
The hardware might be better due to a lot of 3rd part stuff put over Android to make the phone close to iOS but users need good software.

Still find it odd for Samsung to say that.
