I feel your pain:( I had set a strict(ish) budget for my kids and even went to the pains of documenting all spends on a spreadsheet - even down to the toblerones/selection boxes/choc coins etc.

My original budget has been kissed goodbye though, all in the interests of 'fairness'.....hey ho:cool:

Same problem, like them to have same spend and same number to open, so does tend to bend somewhat.

Was breaking up monday but now got to go in Thursday and do a long day to cover.:(

Decided that will be an extra rather than time owe so at least get paid. As only doing as struggling to get agencies to fill and will get that last minute call anyway!

Have just bought roller skates... told you this week is lethal, now my money is out of sync so need to spend more on DD3. and so it goes on...

Oh dear, sounds like you will be doing a little bit more shopping.... There is a playmobil castle calling out to me at the moment for ds2, still resisting, can I get through the week?!

When they were little I came home with a giant bratz house, dont know what I was thinking, its that pre christmas guilt. How old is he Lula? Will he notice if doesnt get one?

Did have a big debate with self first, but I didn't win!

One Christmas I bought my daughter a bratz car, bratz dolls, and whatever else was bratz-ed available at the time. By March she had moved on from all bratz related products:p

I remember one Christmas my son wanted all action man things. Got loads even a back pack. He was about 4. On Xmas morning he starts unwrapping and announces I don't like action man!::mad: He unwrapped all the items I put them straight upstairs got refund for the lot in Argos and brought him a farm set which he loved. Never forgotten that he's 17 at xmas

Its the fear that they will be disappointed. A couple of years ago DD1 wanted a portable dvd player so bought her a mini one but apart from a few bits that was it (as her money was spent) she didnt complain but could tell she was thinking is this it? Their presents do get smaller but cost more as they grow.

Still have DD3 believer but suspect this will be our last year.
