I .... Plus not sure if did finish earlier, would get any early redemption fees so for 1 month will just hang on.

..... decided that we don't intend to be the richest people in the grave yard... .

Oh, to have your problem ....... :rotfl:

Maybe not the richest but you get the gist.. LOL!!

So usual kinda of weekend, gym with DD2, shes been looking after neighbours cats and got paid, so well pleased with herself. Bought dd3 new walking boots as doing D of E walk challenge next weekend and DD2 new swimsuit as threadbare. Then went to fetch DD1 from work (a retail outlet) and me & dave both got new waterproof coats from trespass as closing down sale so 70% off.

Managed a none alcohol on school night week which hasnt happened in a while so wine particularly nice last night. Big run due tomorrow..

Ironing done but have a washing line full of dripping items due to sudden downpour.

    Sad news about Caroline Aherne.

Hope the weather is kind tomorrow, I managed to get my washing in just before a downpour.

Ironing still to be done, my usual sunday am chore, along with just about everything else :(

How was Mama Mia last weekend.

    Terrible sad news about Caroline.

Mama Mia was brilliant. Reminded me why I enjoy this kind of family trip out. We had such a lovely time.

Yes, Lung cancer is nasty. Don't see many make longer than a year. She was very talented, must admit my first thought when saw she had died was wondered if depression had beat her. It seems the way with very talented people.

Didn't really need to ask, did I, was sure you would all have had a fantastic night.

I have a friend whose dad had part of his lung removed through lung cancer, and was told at the time, most with this cancer have a 1% chance of survival beyond a year. Happy to say, he is the 1%, as that was 12 years ago and still going strong, although maybe a bit breathless now, which is only to be expected.

Hopefully chances are must better than they were then.

I suppose at my end of the scale I only see the sad side, so have a very negative view on a horrible cancer.

Managed 19 miles Sunday, furthest ever, took 3:35.

Week 6 in my seconded post, so half way point. Still really enjoying and feels ok.

So sorry to hear about Tiger, I have a soft spot for all ginger cats.

Life sounds very full on at the moment - are you enjoying the challenge?
  • Hi HDK, trying to catch up on diaries. Brilliant to read you're at £600 :T:T:T

Really look forward to reading your plans for the future. Completely agree with 'grave' comment.

I'm feeling as excited as when Sqirrel was finishing her mortgage - I'm sure that's been three years ago now.

    Best wishes Tilly xxxxx

Wanted to post rather than just read. I can't wait to share your mortgage freedom, I agree with Tilly that it is just as exciting for those of us sitting on the guidelines. 5 years and I can start to get excited for my own MF journey.
