Sense should prevail, surely you haven't been in your new job enough time to make a difference... having said that management have place a new lead and therefore proactive.... generally the systems are more at fault than the staff.... it does make me cross..
    Good luck to all x

Sorry to hear about your cat Helen. Hope meeting goes well for you, not nice having it hanging over you.

Epic run and you remained on your feet the rest of the day!

Thanks mfd and cathT. Meeting went ok, was quite nervous. I think sense prevailed, realistically like you say happened within 2 weeks of starting so think was a little harsh. I was more worried about if it affected when I apply for substantive posts in the future.

Got my wage slip online today and I'm a whole £1 gross better off this month... doesn't even cover a night's wine. Good Job I'm not in it for the money.

Get a load of my money shuffle!!!! I'm under a thousand, just 1 more to go.

The lists are being made, exciting times!

Better week at work, still enjoying and still very challenging.

Up early, lots to do and theatre later.

How exciting Helen :T. Can't you have a rummage down the back of the sofa :rotfl:.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I wish GG, have really battoned down the hatches to get this far and savings are very very low. One of the key areas need to sort once mf again. Plus not sure if did finish earlier, would get any early redemption fees so for 1 month will just hang on. Was paying off £2000 a month at one point when had 3 policies on go but reduced to £1000 a month for last year (which was max) so hence swapped very dodgy vehicles recently.

Had long chat with Dave about what to do with money, decided that we don't intend to be the richest people in the grave yard... So more holidays, more days out and family time but will continue our frugle ways.
