    Thanks cathT, managed 2.9 miles tonight...tbh thighs hurt as not used to it but heart felt ok. See how I feel tomoz but feel instantly like a light is back on.

    That's fantastic. Your legs can catch up as long as you are ok heart wise.

    I've been doing shred but wondering whether to just do that in the week and run Saturday and Sunday. These full time jobs get in the way of exercise!

    Yes definitely. I get up at 5.30 for work Mon to Fri, start tea before my coats off then usually have swimming or music etc to go to, our usual sit down time is 9 and then in bed 10ish so I could cut out work and still be busy...

    was lovely getting up early this morning and nipping for a short run whilst house sleeping.
    Going to wait a bit before I do classes as conscious that I'm not there yet but feeling very happy about being back outside.

    Just to add other bargainous happiness. Mattresses arrived last night and heavenly. Saved myself £100 by taking old ones to skip last night.

    Also my boots bargain, nice max factor freebie with £15 spend was mascara, lipstick and nail varnish, well pleased.

    Think I'll be giving them a miss this year, physio appointment on Tuesday for recurring back pain that's been around for 4 months, haven't ran at all since October :o :mad:

    Bless you ed, it's awful not running when you enjoy it so much.
    Unsurprisingly, if you know my personality, I have overdone it, chest very tight last night and walking upstairs causing much thigh pain... yeah yeah I know.... so went for a swim this morning which haven't done in ages.

    Happy mothers day. Had loads of lovely presents all chosen bought and wrapped by each of them which makes more special.

    Happy Mothers' Day to you as well. We spent yesterday morning with Mum and Dad at a fancy restaurant in the posh part of the city, very relaxing.

    My brother was taking my mum out today so we went for tea last night. I got breakfast in bed, youngest has made a cake and they are doing tea. House chores have also been done without the usual bickering.

    Have had a very lazy day...

    Have you found another form of exercise Ed?
