Lazy day needed for you Helen. I recorded HUTH with the intention of watching it whilst catching up on housework but this is the first time I have sat down since 9:10 so no chance!

Had visions of blitzing the house but totally lost my mojo now!

Day started badly but improved to be great. Started off with gym clothes on with plan to go with Dave but before got to door knew it was a no go. Heart felt like sat in throat... Was super Fed up as he decided to go for a run instead and I felt tbh really jealous. Had a few tears when he went then told myself off.
Had solar panel man round but only want if can go on bit of roof that isn't on show, they can't so that's that.

Then decided to take dd1 prom dress shopping and was v successfully. Beautiful dress, she looks fabulous (huge grin) and nowhere near as expensive as could have been, it was definitely the "1".
Also bought a top which called to me as I walked past it, I tried to ignore it but it literally had my name all over it, it was in the sale but still £15, it's gorgeous and will look fab with Jeans or smart trousers.

Afternoon asked dd2 to come a walk with me, we were out nearly 2 hours and had a lovely long chat which is sometimes difficult with teenagers. She says we ought to do every week, so here's hoping she feels the same next week.

Just done all my chores a day early so can meet a friend tomoz for catch up and running bath so can watch tv with youngest2 (bit of paddy) as Dave watching football and d1 going to a sleepover. Wine in fridge.

Does sound like your day got better. Nothing beats quality time with children either regardless of their age.

I played tennis with dd this afternoon and DH and ds kicked a football around the park. Was a perfect afternoon.

Have a lovely evening, I am about to hear the wonderful glug glug of wine.

Grr just had a power cut and lost my post.

As a young nurse my Mum turned down tickets to the MASH premiere because she thought it was a boring documentary...

Just ran round block, nice and steady. It's only a mile circuit but feel so pleased to be starting again. Woohoo....
Think will do a few more times in next week or so then try and increase. Supposed to be doing 10k mid April... maybe still doable... was fabulous to put my running shoes on albeit for 13 minutes.
