Snowing quite heavily and settling.


Feel desperate to return to work and although everyone is saying I should stay off, I am really fed up, so spoke to my boss and she is fab, so going in mon, wed and fri next week as phased return but not to the ward (I will be swamped as after even a few days off its always a small queue of staff wanting to tell me things) will borrow a desk and get on top of my emails, roster, etc etc and leave if I feel I need to. Haven't told Dave yet but he knows Im getting cranky and so fed up of the "sick role".


Bought some salopettes of ebay which aren't salopettes but none waterproof insulated trousers, very frustrating, they have also charged me twice as much postage as cost to post. I always add max 50p on for packaging personally. Had the trousers been salopettes the postage would have been ok as bigger and heavier. I have emailed about the postage and description as again my own personal code is brutally honest description as Id rather not sell than have anyone feel ripped off.

Thanks Watty, lady has emailed me back and refunded £7, some for postage and some I think to be fair whilst still selling at ok price. So result.

Energy levels low but need to work for my sanity. Starting to get proper fed up. Dave taken dd2 swimming so he will be at the gym... which is good but starting to feel jealous as just want things back to normal now. He was keen to point out that if I work Mon, we'd, Fri that I didn't then work stupid late on all 3 days as I'm known to do but I don't think it will happen.

Feeling grumpy. If honest, don't really think remotely ready to go back to work as feel breathless and chest tight but being "sick" is properly pulling me down and making me sad, a little light office work me thinks will be soul cleansing. Im hoping mind over matter.:( If I can't, then we'll find out Monday and move from there.


I looked online for "gentle" classes (yoga etc) but came to conclusion, that im being ridiculous..

Gave myself a bit of a talking to this morning, and decided need to stop moping around. So got up early and gave girls a lift to school (its frozen snow everywhere) to save them walking. Have cleaned shoes, tidied dvd's and the "cat" cupboard.
Found some recipe cards which I may attempt later.
Just watching HUTH with a brew for a rest then plan a few kitchen cupboards.


Promised weeks ago to take dd1 on a shopping trip on Saturday for her Birthday (clothes), feeling nervous now as a clothing expedition isn't the most relaxing pastime.

More cupboards tackled. My mate came round and had lovely lunch and catch up. Just what I needed.

Had 3 emails from eBay watchers 're items which I have as collection only (large doll s house) so hopefully may get some bidders soon.

I will confess to being a little sad at this point, as I log all my gifts in a notebook so I don't lose track, then I have special plastic storage unit in my loft... I also have systems for wrapping and bagging.... I think it's the estj in me, I have literally always done it.

I used to have a designated Christmas cupboard but lost this when we moved house.

I also used to have a ready supply of children's birthday party presents for when last minute invites land on you.
