Thank you FD, Tilly, Alchemilla, GreenT and SS. Xxxxx

Despite going to bed at 10pm last night, I was wide awake from midnight till my alarm went off just after 5 and then felt like I could sleep. Did a long so home just after 8pm. Just sipping my rum and diet coke allocation before may slip into deep sleep. Agreed with kids to them not going to music tomorrow as clearly they are very tired and need a sleep in.

Feeling very good today. Being a manager is tough and unpopular role at times but ward has ran beautifully (few minors but overall good) whilst off, staff comments lead me to believe I may have actually been missed and feeling a very warm fuzzy feeling as have such a fantastic team. Can't believe how far we've come! The job hsd just turned the corner of being enjoyable again (although dips with the external pressures). Also interviewed my seconded deputy (as per policy, advert out, shortlistws, formal interviews with senior management present due to grade of post) and she is now permanent, which is a huge relief (as could potentially have all gone pete tonge).
Also due to "return" have had a lot of "wow, you really have lost weight" kinda of comments for last 2 days so feeling very positive about the weight I've lost.

Money now self shuffling but payday today and so morgage OPs in the starter gates for the 1st and allocated, which will take us to 40k.

We were quite well controlled with hol spending and didnt overspend on allocated money so financially starting with a better number this month. Was under on groceries and works out at an overall much better month.

Have just taxed online Daves car, need to book his in for MOT and my exhaust has started blowing, so they will be my priorities this month.

Freezer tripped out whilst away and so ALL frozen in floor to ceiling freezer wasted so will need to restock urgently. So shopping tomorrow. Almost nice to have a complete clear out...

Youngest slept till 1.30, everyone else 11ish. Parents visited. Have spun, shopped, ironed and mowed. Then a lovely long bath, now watching bgt on +1 with the girls.

Was great to have healthy fresh food... chicken chow mein (sw version) for dinner and big chicken salad for tea.

Have tried several old outfits on in smaller size and all fit, so very pleased. Bought my first ever size 20 trousers at Christmas which was one of the catalysts to lose weight and now can get in some 14' s!
Please note my super ms ways due to having such a range of sizes in my closet! Have 8, 10 & 12 in loft...

I have 10, 12 and 14 in wardrobe and all fit! The sizes vary so much (really a 12). You've dropped a good few sizes there - well done:T:T

Now you see that's the difference between us. As every time I think of eating I think of cheese. Or sausages. Or chocolate. Etc etc :o
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
