Hiya NP. Nice to see you xx
I always thought I was quite robust but a few months ago I was definitely struggling and was way over my personal stress tolerance levels. Have never felt like that before and looking back, it is quite clear that I took on far more than any normal person would. Think I'm back now but did make some significant changes to my work life balance to get back on track and determined not to let work take control again. Although Dave would argue I still have some nasty habits; going in and covering shifts at last minute, staying v late and reading work email at home constantly. Perhaps I should do some reading too.. Did do a stress workshop (for managers to help staff) and did pretty much tick all the naughty boxes.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

Stress just has that way of creeping up on you H. My problem is procrastination, followed by stressfully battering through workload/university/home life. Today for example, despite knowing I have Uni prep work, I have dicked around all day long, with nothing (and I really do mean nothing:o) to show for it.February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

Yes, my house is not as clean as it used to be, when I desperately needed to do X before I did any studying.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

It's all too easy, isn't it? I had a period of literally 2 years after graduating for the first time when I used to sit around in a funk, doing sweet FA, but worrying that I was doing sweet FA.
The easy option is to say that I was feeling depressed at the time (I have experienced full blown depression), but it's perhaps more accurate to say that I was just a grade A procrastinator.
Then again, HDK goes the other way sometimes and does *too much* :eek:0 -
I so know what you mean, Ed. I feel really odd not doing stuff, it's quite bizarre. It has almost slowed me down to a complete stop, that's why need to refocus and my weight seems a good target.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

Lazy day. Quick trip to Wickes for a new fence post as had some damage that needs repairing after the stormy weather. Hopefully Dave will fix when I'm at work tomoz, should be on an office day but staffing not looking good so can see me doing a long clinical. I've been clinical so much lately that actually getting quite into it. Shame I am now major behind in office. It is nice to work with staff though and actually have patient contact.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!
