What a blow, LameWolf. I know you were counting on him. I hope someone else has the decency to take over.

How do you make your chocolate ice cream?
I shan't hold my breath re anyone else taking on the task.... they all want their memberships processed in double-quick time, but none of them want to do any of the work.:(

Ice cream - I've got a little tiny Panny battery-operated ice cream maker that you just fill and then chuck in the bottom drawer of the freezer, it makes three quarters of a litre at a time.

I just wallop in a couple of cups of cream or plain yogurt or mix of the two (I'm currently using yogurt, as it's not as rich and therefore more to my taste) and about half a cup of sugar, plus whatever I'm using for flavouring - today was the single dessertspoon of cocoa left in the bottom of the tub, augmented with about two dessertspoons of drinking chocolate to make a good flavour - I taste it before putting in the freezer to check flavour.;)

I'll be honest, it's the first time I've done chocolate, and I only did it to get rid of the nearly-empty cocoa tub.:o But the coffee one I did a couple of weeks ago, with the tail end of an ancient bottle of C@mp coffee worked brilliantly, so I've no reason to think this won't work.:D

I don't muck about with eggs and doing a custard mix; I think it's called Philadelphia style done this way; it's quick and easy, and (most importantly) Mr LW enjoys it.:D

    Evening all.

Been one of those days where I turn around and the day has gone and I have to rush off to do something or be somewhere.

Charity collection went this morning 5 boxes, 2 binbags and a canvas wardrobe (only bought from A1di sometime last year or the year before) that didn't fit in the space all gone :D I will regain my bedroom from all the stuff. Some of that stuff has been in those boxes for over a year just sitting in my room :o

Picked DD up from school and suggested we walk down to the butchers to get some meat for tea. We got chatting about her day and managed to walk right past it :rotfl: We carried on walking and before we knew it we had walked home via a couple of shops DD has been asking to go in :D Its only 2.5miles, add on the fact I took her to school as well and I must have walked about 5miles today :j Might do this more often as I feel great, if a little tired :rotfl:
