How much does a big expensive aerial cost ?0 -
Hi
I bought a freeview HD recorder, which is picking up all UK freeview channels and RTE channels. The only thing is, it is putting the RTE channels first (i.e. channel 1 is RTE 1 etc) and the UK channels are in the 800's range. I have tried retuning using the 'Northern Ireland' region, 'RTE NL' region and 'No' region but it doesn't seem to make a difference. My TV (which has freeview but no HD) is putting BBC, UTV etc. first. I live in Belfast, so not in border . Has anyone any ideas how to rectify this?
Many thanks0 -
essen1 - when I said:you'll need to get an aerial pro in to advise on installing a big expensive aerial.
jocomaph - what make and model is it? Looks like you're doing the right thing with the regions, but are you doing a full retune after changing region? If that doesn't work give a factory reset a go.0 -
Thanks almillar,
Just got it sortedAfter the auto tune, all I had to do was change the region to Northern Ireland (without auto tuning again) and it automatically repositioned the channels. Thanks for your help, much appreciated.
