I am considering opening 2 accounts to invest my fathers money as i am his power of attorney.
Unfortunately he is in a rest home so has no bills to use for direct debits.
He has a natwest current account and some Nationwide accounts.
Can anyone offer advice re who to set up Direct debits with to qualify for 3%
    Thanks
  • Are none of the options on the the first post of this thread suitable?
  • If you just need direct debits to meet the monthly reward for halifax etc, then I recommend setting up Pay-Pal to be paid by direct debit, and then use Paypal to purchase stuff online.

Paypal don't charge for withdrawing to a UK bank account do they? They never have with me.
  • I think they are referring to ebay which charges through paypal

  • Can anyone help with Paypal, when I try to bring money into my account using DD it only displays 3 of my accounts (not including my primary, the same accounts each time) in the drop down menu. Thanks :)
