Right, it appears that after all DDs and bills have gone out I have £115 left to last 2 weeks if I am not to go overdrawn (really don't want to do this if avoidable).
This week's food shopping is done and there's probably quite a bit of stuff left for the following week so food shouldn't be a massive outlay.
I'll try and eek out the petrol in the car if I can - its about half full now and I'm not going too far.
I'll stay in next weekend and so no big spends anticipated there either. The stumbling block comes with mum's birthday on the 10th Jan - I'm not going to Wales for it but I will have to buy a pressie and card. Will have a think about what I may be able to get that she actually wants and may be in the sales.

So this week is a spend as little as possible week - will keep a track of it here and see how much "little spends" actually are.;)

Just done the Tae Bo video - good fun but the bloke was shouting "Praise to Jesus, Jesus wants to see you sweat, hold your head up, Jesus did!" all the time - hilarious but a good routine and I sweated tons!
Will definitely do again - might have a look at others on YouTube too - never thought about doing this before and there are loads of full length workouts on there.

Horrible weather here again today - been dog walking but will have to go again this afternoon with the "hip-op dog" of the lady down the road who's had her hip replaced (I'm walking her dog too until she recovers).

Determined to finish the pile of books to mark currently on the coffee table this afternoon - only 30 more to go after them:eek:

    Will wonders ever cease?
    Drumroll.....I have managed 2 NSDs in a row :j:j
Don't think I've ever done that before!
Also had a use it up type of tea - quorn sausages, sweet potato and beans and still have 600 cals left if I eat my exercise cals too - don't think I will have them all though, just a little snack later if needed.

Done about half of the marking on the coffee table - its just soooo boring.:( Will maybe do one or two more this evening - although I would have to be really really bored.

Going to have a go at broccoli and stilton soup tomorrow (idea stolen from Sparkles ). Have everything I need in so won't need to buy anything.

Not had a bad day so far - a 5.5km run and a good lunch BUT I had to visit my friend and she's a real feeder and insisted on giving me a slice of homemade victoria sponge - it wasn't massive but I really didn't want it but felt like I couldn't say no. Took the dog for a brisk 30min walk when I got home to try to minmise the cals and will have soup for tea (if I ever get around to making it!)

Not had a NSD today - Spent £8 but it could have been worse.
    Will try harder tomorrow.:o

Don't be too hard on yourself - tomorrow is another day afterall.

I went for run this afternoon, not very far but managed 4 miles in a pretty decent time despite feeling like I was slow at times

I'm having the rest of my choc pud tonight and then getting rid of the rest of it as its back to work and back to normal tomorrow and I don't want to massively muck up my eating plan with this!

What sort of time do you do 4 miles in Sparkles?
I have one pace running - and that's just forward:rotfl:My aim is just to do the distance and then think about times when the distances are comfortable.

You're quite good! I'd be half a mile behind you!

Just made the soup - used up ageing broccoli, onion and potatoes from the fridge and a lump of left over Xmas stilton. Added up the cals using the exact weights I used and it made 3 good portions each at 220 cals, so a nice healthy low cal tea. Had it with 2 pieces of stale bread that I toasted - a real penny pinching meal! 2 for the freezer too for days that I'm too pooped to cook after work.

Had quite a productive day - managed to do 5 hours schoolwork and now have quite a bit "in the bank" for the coming weeks.
Then cleaned the whole house and its now gleaming, did a load of washing (now on the dryer), took the dog for a big walk and to the park and made a nice thai curry for tea using up things in the fridge. There's an extra portion cooling to put in the freezer for after work one day next week.

And the best bit - I've had another NSD! That's 3 out of the last 4 days:j Unheard of for me! I'm really trying hard to minimise spending until payday (12 days and counting!).

The dog is having his hair cut tomorrow (at last) but its been budgeted for so if I don't spend anything I'll class that as a NSD too. No doubt I'll find something desperately needed though ;).

I've managed to use up a lot of the stuff in the fridge and have put a few meals in the freezer so have a bit ready for next week. Think that tomorrow I'll have another use it up type of tea of fake bacon, a lone quorn sausage lying lonely in the fridge, beans, tomatoes, hash browns and scrambled egg - breakfast for tea! No rules in my house!:rotfl:
