Lovely pic nmm - they look so comfy all snuggled up
. Hopefully postie will have a delivery for us tomorrow.
Nice and sunny day here today although we did have quite a frost this morning. Getting ready for christening soon. There is going to be quite a delay between service and reception/foodie stuff afterwards so have threatened to take some stitching with me. DH thinks I'm joking.
Have have great stitchy day wherever you are.

Might be worth contacting whoever made the kit? I lost half a chart for a kit made by coats crafts and they very kindly sent me the missing page.
Good idea - it's a DMC kit I've contacted them about running out of thread and they have sent more so they do have a good rep for customer service0 -
I'm trying to get a good collection of cross stitch sites in my bookmarks to browse upon, and just wondered what all you're favourite sites were???0

Hello Girls
Sorry I have not been on for a few days been quite busy with work and other things getting in my way.
I have started my christmas card exchange (feels odd not showing my progress so far). I have finished my wee girl - put her into a coaster ready for posting - tried to get to post office yesterday but other things overtook. I have also made a start on my purplework - in which I am loving - really enjoying it.
Was going to show you some photos but can't seem to find the camera. Think the cat nicks it to take photos of all her boyfriends! Thought she got out of house other day there as I seen one similar to her walking up the road but it turned round and it wasn't. She isn't allowed outside - so don't know why I was worried.
I am slowly sorting through my threads - I am just putting them in numerical order. I found on the DMC website a listing of the numbers so been ticking off what I have found so far.
Off to my parents later - going to talk to my dad about the car. He has maintained, repaired, MOT'd it since it was young. It was previously my brothers car - he had it since it was 2 ish and now its 16.
Catch you all later - hope everyone is well wherever you are

beautiful photos.
not done any stitchy stuff this weekend, ive been making stuff to sell at the craft fair (weather worms, hardest bit was getting the eyes to stay put) need to stitch some more key rings now ive found a couple more fobs to put them in.
weirdest thing i spent all friday and saturday looking for my chart for blackwork angel it was nowhere, asked DH and the boys none had seen it ive come back form the carboot this morning and its neatly stacked on the computer table right in front of the modem where i looked 100s of times! noone in the house is admitting to putting it there for me, in fact DS1 said the last thing i said about it saturday night is "i dont understand how it can be missing it was just there last time i saw it" and pointed to exactly where its reappeared. ive said 'Thank you' out loud to who or what ever found it for me but spooky or what!!!!SPC~12 ot 124

Does anyone know what magazines these charts came from?

I'm not sure if I've got them and don't want to buy them if I already have them, but I'd really like to stitch them. I've had a look through my pile of magazines but there are so many of them that I can't find these charts even though they might be there somewhere.
Alternatively, does anyone know if these are available as a chart pack or kit from the designer? I'm reluctant to pay £2.50 for a few pages torn from an old magazine when I know the designer will get nothing for it. I'd rather pay a little more and give my money to the designer to fund more designs.0 -
Pennib - love your cushion.
nmm - nice little robin and finished really fast.
Haven't received my order from Cross Stitch Heaven but have received an email to say order completed and despatched so hopefully may arrive tomorrow.
Leemina12 - I particularly like Across Town Stitching but if you follow links that others post you will soon find that you NEED things from sites all over the place.
Brednall - the chart arrived yesterday. Thank you so much it was very kind of you to pass it on when you weren't going to stitch it. My son will love it. Need to finish what I am currently stitching before I start it. I'm trying to be so good and only start new things once I finish something.

Ordered from RUCrafts on Thursday evening and part of the order arrived yesterday the other, which is the Nativity alphabet that I want to sticth for my 10.11.12 - 11.12.13 piece is delayed. Need to be patient, as long as it arrives before 10.11.12 it will be fine.
Have been busy over the weekend. Have finished Charlie Bear - third time was lucky.

Also started the fairies for my cousin. Really pleased with the progress, it's stitching up very quickly. Have run out of floss now though so on hold until I can get to shop for another skein. You can't really see from the photo but it's stitched in dark purple DMC550.
