Ah, I have been a bit distracted with crochet (which is my new love). Blush.

Yes its me. It coming along nicely but still loads to do.

Only managed to do about an hour of x stitch today. Have been concentrating more on quilting and tapestry

Hope you all managing to keep safe and warm.

Here is an update on my Xstitch, it has 3 different colours stitched but you can't really tell the difference in them! It is soooooo difficult to tell where I am if I lose concentration for even a second.

This is where I'm at, the chart and one of my beautiful borders asleep in the background

I hope you don't mind me asking. .... I noticed in your pic that you are using a hoop that is small compared to your x stitch. Does this not ruin your work

That is the largest size I have and don't normally like using hoops or frames but have done with this one.

I know my WOCS is waiting on the doormat for me getting home, so I have avoided reading the reviews for now.

I did pick up a copy of Crosstitcher today though, first time since I cancelled my sub 18 months ago - I saw the Gruffalo chart advertised on their FB page which is what made me buy it. Nothing else appealed thought tbh, although I do like the free wooden key fob gift (something decent!)

However, I want to make some more of these as gifts - but despite some Googling I can't find the wooden fobs anywhere but Etsy...and call me cheap but there is no way I am paying £8 each for them! (I could get them for £4 each just by buying another magazine!)

Has anyone seen these sold online on their travels? Doesn't have to be that design, circles, hearts, I'm not fussy.
