that's fab. am tempted to get it for hubby's anniversary card lol.

Just by looking at it from the outide, (I still haven't opened it lol), but it looks too big for a card, but you could always use just use one or two of the erm *you know whats* instead on a separate piece of aida.

    Cross Stitch Crazy May 2013

Thread organiser shaped like a butterfly..........cute
    Handy

margaret sherry card set - these are sweet I really like them.
Me too, I'm definitely going to stitch them, even with the BABS (it's mimimal)

The Joys of Spring ....... another Joan Elliott Fairy. We all know my views on them.
I really like it, and know smoeone who would be over the moon if I stitched it for her :)

    May Monkey - cute
My little boy checks this out every month now :D Not too sure what the relevalce of the pack is? Would have liked something that was a bit more 'May-ish?'

dolly parton - anyone think the chart (not the pic) reminds them of a warewolf?
    Yes! It looks AWFUL

50 new home motifs - I like these.... not sure I'd ever get the stitching opportunity but I like them.
Some pretty designs, most look like they would be quick to stitch

perfect presentI like the panda, he doesn't often get used in cross stitch
So cute! Think I might get bored stitching all that white though :o

cards for men a car and a trophy. Could see me using these.
Yup, always a shortage of male cards for me

circus motifs - Again I like these.... not sure I'd ever get the stitching opportunity but I like them. could make cards with some of them.
    Not too keen on them

    sweet scents Naff!!
Maybe as a card or two - but I would use cream fabric for background rather than stitching all of that. Can't see me stitchign them though tbh

pirate ABC i like these too. nice for cards. Well apart from H - not keen on skull and crossbones.
Easy to swap the pics round, I like the map/treasure chest/message in a bottle / ship letters best

STITCHY SOS - How to keep your stitching bug alive. I really need to follow this!!

    funky florals pfft more flowers
    Meh

it's playtime. dressed up meerkats - blurk
I certainly wouldn't bother making puppets with them but my kids and MIL all like Meerkats

    oriental style not for me
    Definitely not

make a note I like these too - but not sure I'd ever cover a book with one, tho perhaps using the designs on a card........
^^Agreed. Words are easily changed as well so could have 'New home' 'Happy Birthday' cards etc

challange lucie - not sure i'd use any of these
I like the fairy mouse but that's all

Overall, I would say it's definitely been worth it's money this month :D

I've been busy all day spring cleaning and sorting so I haven't sat down yet with either magazine :(

I'm not a big fan of Cross Stitch Crazy - there is something about it that irritates me and rarely much in it that I like. but I still continue with the subscription because just as I decide I'm going to cancel, then the next month always ends up being a margaret sherry design....

My day of sorting has gone well and things are looking tidier. I can now get in my spare room and even see the carpet :rotfl: :T

Still have plenty of sorting to do :( although it is proving quite therapeutic and I will be pleased when its done. (the office is on my hit list next !)

I've been doing this since Sunday, every room and cupboard is getting blitzed, I've been watching Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners and it made me think I need to sort my house out :rotfl: I've got about 5 bin bags, some boxes plus a broken halogen & printer all ready for the tip :T Funny thing is though I didn't think I had that much stuff :D
