just wondering how much time per day to you devote to cross stitch?I'm trying so hard to be thrifty, but it doesn't come naturally. You lot are an inspiration!JUST LOVES THE O/S BOARD0 -
Louise - hope there's good news about your nephew.
Winniepooh - nice design, assume polar bear pals or similar. In answer to your question re time spent it depends, yesterday I only managed half an hour but did sort out material, floss and pattern for next project. Skme days I manage a couple of uninterrupted stitching time. Find I'm a nit of a butterfly and easily get side tracked.
Working from home this am as have important meeting to prefer for at lunchtime so must go and do the work. No stitching for me today as meeting friends that I havent seen for ages, some not since july and going for an Indian.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

Off to sort colours now for the cupcakes and mugs whilst watching about Richard III.
I watched that last night as well, found it very interesting - what are the odds eh, they got lucky there.winniepooh wrote: »

Sometimes none, sometimes half an hour. My favourite night is a Friday when I can get 4-5 hours done when I stay awake later and stitch in bed watching a DVD.:)
Mrsm - Hope you are feeling better soon x
I got an update on my nephew - CT scan was clear (thank goodness) so not epilepsy - they are treating him for viral meningitis to be on the safe side but the test results won't confirm until tomorrow. Not babysitting my niece today as she is to go to the hospital for blood tests to see if she is clear.Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. My mum took up tapestry recently. She has experience with cross stitch and she seemed to pick it up quite easily, so you should be OK0 -
continued get well vibes for your nephew Louise.

cant remember whos brother had the fall yesterday but i do hope hes alright as well
hugs to anyone who needs one especially soulie
did an hour on dragons leg this morning in bed (not sure if ill get any more stitchy time today)
not feeling 100% but think its cos i know lurgs are going around the school i work at 5 in one class are off with chicken pox and narrowly missed having a child upchuck over my shoes yesterday,
not sure how strict you have to be but was supposed to be visiting my mum at the weekend but she looks after my niece for my brothers (pregnant) partner, i view of previous problems ive told mum to explain to her about all the kids at school i work at being lurgy and said if shed sooner i didnt come over this weekend ill totally understand i dont want to risk being the one who gives them the pox.
It was my brother that fell yesterday. Mum called me at tea time and said he'd slept for a bit and managed to keep down some food & drink, so that's a good sign. Thanks for all the good wishes about him.I watched that last night as well, found it very interesting - what are the odds eh, they got lucky there.

Hope he's out of hospital and driving his mum crazy again soon. Thinking of you.
Re stitching time. Recently I've not had too much time to get stuck into my stitching. I like to be able to get a couple of hours in within a session. If I've got a free stitching day, I can quite happily stitch for 5-6 hours. I don't usually bother to pick up my stitching if I've only got half an hour. Should change that really, then I'd get more done!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Thanks. He only moved into the new place (first on his own) on Thursday, so not a good way to start. Might buy him a bath mat for his birthday in April!

I keep small card size designs handy for when I only have a short while, I can't be bothered dragging out all the stuff for my big pics to just get one or two thread lengths completedCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219.
