I know what you mean. I think I now only have 6 coin pusher games because I culled a few when I got the new tablet. I was annoyed about Coin Dozer because when you re-download it onto a new device you start from scratch and I had every prize maxed out, over 4000 coins and was on level 240 ishI am enjoying getting back to those figures/levels though

The framed piccie looks really lovely!
Brednall - I think I have the hands off one saved, I can't remember who it was who was stitching them. I thought perhaps sweetcarer, hmm.
Ruth Honey - Are you able to make the show on the thurs, thinking less busy, more room in workshops.Don't worry if you can only do the weekend.
The first day is usually the busiest0 -
Louise. Touched by Magic is coming along great! Remind me please, is this a gift for someone or for yourself?

'Technically' DD has claimed it, but it will go up in our hallway/gallery (lol) so either way it will be in our houseblue_eyed_girl wrote: »Louise - congratulations on your prize. Thanks for sharing the pics of Touched by Magic - bet you will have it finished in 8 weeks:D). That's the one (Coin Dozer) - cannot get the coins to regenerate quick enough. Had it sussed yesterday - use the coins up and stitch while they regenerate (yaaayyy sorted)
I sussed that as wellMultitasking all the way :T:jI'm only on level 38 at the moment, still trying to find all the prizes
No chance of having it stitched in 8 weeks....it's going away again for a bit and I'm starting Twilight Silhouette and Stitching Angel of light for my friends birthdy :jCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Missed your post yesterday. Did you add the bit to me in your edit? Maybe I was online and saw the original post, but didn't notice you'd edited it afterwards. I am happy to do any day. I'm not working & happy to miss water aerobics for a stitch show!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Thanks to all the girls in the Cross Stitch Cafe! You're all fantastic! :A0 -
I probably did edit, I usually get to the bottom and add extra comments so keep them all to one post. Still think thurs or fri, can't believe a weekday would be busier than the weekend. I'm not working so don't mind either way. Still waiting on confirmation for moving day, could fall into first weekend of April, so will keep you posted.
Louise wow Haed looks amazing!

Would any of you lovely ladies know where I could get some sewn bunting for my craft stall? Just of my name maybe to brighten up my plain cloth.

I've always stitched "in hand," but as I have several large HAED designs waiting to be started, I wanted to see if I could get on with using a frame. I was looking at the various options online, and my friend came over. He said: "I could make you one of those!"
Three hours later, and £12.95 worth of materials, and I have this!I've loosened it off in this photo as I wan't working on the piece, but when it's tightened up, the tension on the fabric is superb. Very MSE solution to a £70 purchase I was about to make!

Good morning stitchers on this bright spring like morning :j
louise loving the updates on your HAED - it is fascinating to see pieces develop and see the different ways we approach stitching a piece.
Emma sorry can't help with ready made bunting - it's a great idea if you can find some
Mistyblue What a wonderful friend and your HAED looks amazing - I'm sure the frame will help on a piece like that. I vary between stitching in hand and using a frame depending on the piece
subtle minx Most crafters don't work either - they are retired or SAHM or disabled or unemployed or work part time etc. Most 3 day craft shows used be Friday Sat and Sun and are now Thurs - Sat because Sundays were so poorly attended compared to Friday. People like me who work full time tend to take holidays to go because they aren't really family outings - I go with friends instead of family. If you go on Thurs or Friday you will notice the place will suddenly become much less busy around 3.30 as the mums (and grandmas) have to leave to do the school run. I think Saturdays are still busy but Sundays were not well attended at all. I got this information from stall holders and from a local shop who attends shows all over the country. But whichever day you attend I'm sure you will have a great time
I took advantage of the bright sunlight to take an update photo of Let's Sew as the first one from a couple of weeks ago didn't show the hand dyed fabric
This was the first update from 21st Jan showing that I started on the opposite side to Maria

Am having quite a lot of knotting problems with the DMC variations thread - has anyone else experienced this?
Edited to add that I finished Snowflakes on 31 1 13 but forgot to take a photo when had the camera out0
