Hi ladies.
Laura. Disney Castle is beautiful! You have every right to be proud
Maria. Nice stockings, look forward to seeing them made up.
Ailsb. I see you have now got your pic onto flickr but can't copy/paste the code. Does touch and hold give you that option? I know it does on my tablet (that isn't a samsung) but not sure how the samsung works. I'll ask hubby tonite and post back.
Poohspals. Nice update, it's coming along lovely.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Morning all
It has been a whole week with no great amount of stitching. Had earth set up but after 2 lengths of thread I gave up on it.
Have set up touched by magic so going to try and have a push at that. I just don't think anything is grabbing me at the moment.
I was having a browse of sites last night to try and inspire my mojo and think I might be adding Twilight Silhouette to my wish list.:oCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Julie like the starfish wedding chart does seem appropriate and agree that it should be quite quick to stitch.
Louise I love that fairy picture not surprised that its on your list.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

I am after a bit of help please....
I am thinking of stitching a Winnie the Pooh design called Tigger's Squares.
If you google Tigger's Squares B71 on google and select the images tab - the first two pics that come up show this design.
Unfortunately I have lost the thread and material. I can replace the material and the thread numbers listed are the Winnie the Pooh threads (which I have - I think). However, you will see that each Tigger is bordered by a green square and yellow shading (done I think in half cross stitch).
Firstly I'm not sure whether to stitch the design as it is or whether to stitch the designs individually and stick in a pen pot.... this one
So now for the help I need - as I say I've lost the threads - so a bit stuck at what dmc colours jade green and soft yellow are ?? BUT what I was also thinking was what other colours would work for the border and the shading ???
Coming out of lurkdom briefly to say that I have checked a couple of old WTP charts I have, and they show jade green is DMC 943 and soft yellow is DMC 744.
Hope that helps.

Chicky - love your update. I really like the "Dictionary" series of designs.
well I've managed to get my netbook working - have given up trying to get photos from flickr using my tablet. Sorry to bore you all but here's some photos.
First is the long awaited Christmas Card from JCS and the exchange.

This is the photo of my sons bedroom wall. he has another 2 framed photos to the left of the photo as you look at it and two framed real bugs to the right. the gap in the middle is to accomodate the bug and the turtle cross stitches once I finish them (no pressure there at all).

The last one is the update on the Bug. When I picked it up again on saturday I had only done the head. Since taking the photo yesterday I have done more to the body, with a fair wind I may have the body finished by the end of tomorrow. I hope to have it all finished by the end of next weekend. Have sworn not to start anything else until this is finished.

Have also bought this kitto do for son, once I've had a break from stitching for him. It was only £4.99 including postage and include aida, thread and chart. really pleased with it.
Have also ordered this chartwhich is coming from USA. Can't wait to get started on it.
Have also subscribed to Mabel Figworthy's Flights of Fancy. Have the fabric but waiting for threads to arrive.
Sorry for the long post. Will go away and hide again for awhile.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

Afternoon ladies!
Well, I have returned from a lovely weekend with my brother and his lovely girlfriend (who spolied me rotten!) to find I have been chosen as the winner of a gorgeous cross stitch kit from Little Star Stiches :j I have opted for a Christmas kit (Peanut and muffin Christmas Kiss) in the hope I shall get it finished in time for then... Well that's the plan anyway.
So waiting egarly for postie to deliver that! Very excited!
Unfortunately not much stitching done here. The Dictionary of bras is making slow progress, I shall put some pictures on once the kids are tucked up in bed.
I shall go and have a nosey at all I have missed whilst I was away! (and have a sneeky cuppa if my son will let me! :rotfl:)
I'll be back once I have read through
