had good news about dad hes back home, tests couldn't find a clot so they've decided now it was angina, dad has had lots of heart probs and ops in the past so sounds plausible, just off the phone to him and he sounds really well, he'd even been out to take the dog for a little walk so must be feeling a lot better and certainly glad to be home. thank you all for your good wishes for him.

caroline78 - Your squares are lovely, I think it's great that you're doing them. I think they'll really be appreciated.
As far as Les Mis goes, I can't wait to see it! I saw the show in London a few years ago and loved it. Plus, Hugh Jackman0 -
Anyone in Manchester or surrounding areas wanting to go to Creative Stitches and Hobbycraft Show in February? Tickets currently half price on Groupon:

subtle_minx wrote: »Thanks again, link very useful. Would have totally missed them as not in the craft section. Random question, but does you finger get very sweaty or claustrophobic? Just about to order from the link you sent. Also came across these for future ref.
No problem. I wouldn't say my finger tip gets exactly sweaty but it does feel kind of a little damp when I take the thimble off. Like when you have a plaster on and the place on your skin where the pad part has been feels damp/more moist than the rest of your skin. Does that make sense?
Sometimes they can feel a little claustrophobic/uncomfortable/too tight but I just change to a slightly larger one.
Caroline. Nice squares.
Ailsb. Hope your Dad is back on his feet soon.
Mrsmp. Glad your Dad is much better.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

and another guarentee they will be getting stock - funny thought they weren't yesterday..........................
I sent and got this reply earlier... here's hoping.
Hi, Please can you let me know if this has been dispatched or is back in stock now. I have been patiently waiting and have heard nothing since September and have seen the same gift offered as a subscription perk in other mags.
Thank you for your recent email regarding the Cross Stitch Card Shop.
Firstly please accept my apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you. I have checked your subscription details and can confirm that everything seems to be in order.
I am pleased to confirm that a replacement has been allocated for you, and will be received shortly.

Know how you all feel - just want to hibernate this weekend, but can't brought home a pile of work as I still haven't caught up and I don't want them thinking I can't cope with my work load.
Out tomorrow night with some of the girls at work - going for a meal and a drink - looking forward to it - "bi*ch and chat session".
Finished my green calendar - will have to look out the camera for picture. So that is the first of my 13 for 2013.
Keep well and warm till next time
