I got the sewing box below, which has 9 compartments inside it, also (yet another!) another pair of embroidery scissors, fabric glue and a DMC bluebell kit.
Also, got down to 3 kits to start next, couldn't decide which so got someone else to pick a number. So next one is map of Peak District, the farm is just inside the boundary:0 -
defo e-mail them FE. you'll have no problems getting refunds.
I love map ones JCS - I've 3 different ones i think - did i put one on my 2013 list?
I got a lot of DO homes done but not as much as I thought i should have done - but it's such a lot of not so much confetti stitching but tiny sections of different colours.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

Shop called Past to Present in Ashbourne, never been in before but will be going again! I've had a look and no manufacturer name or anything on it.
Think this will be my 3rd map from Heritage Stitchcraft, stitched Staffordshire and Great Britain many years ago. Just wondering if to drive into town tomorrow to get copies of the chart to sew from, or just wait until work on Monday :cool:0 -
Hubby, DS1 and I are off to see The Hobbit tomorrow :j 3 hours watching 'tv' with no stitching
I hate watching telly without stitching, and hubby hates me watching telly while stitching....lol. He doesn't see how I can follow what is happening without looking constantly at the screen. I tend to watch the first few minutes so I can see who has what voice and then I can follow it okay, but he just doesn't get this...xx;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)0 -

Mine is very good and doesn't mind telling me what happened if I have glanced down and missed an important bit (or even rewinding a smidge f it's on a DVD)
Hubby's should be there to be useful like thatMight as well be single otherwise :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Totally agree Louise :rotfl: Us women are so good at multi-tasking Caroline - that's it.
Had a quick glance at new WOCS - nothing really jumps out at being a 'must stitch'.
Nothing on the stitching front here. Eczema has flared up really badly on right hand. GP has prescribed a stronger steriod ointment (really greasy stuff) so I have to wear a cotton glove to stop everything from getting covered in it. So I dont think stitching would be recommend at the moment.
Hope you all manage some stitchy time over the weekend
Take care

WOXS arrived just as I was walking out the door yesterday. As always, I always look at the "next month" pages first!
In general, the contents of the issue are a bit disappointing - nothing really appeals which is a shame since I've been waiting all month for it. :rotfl: but next month, I do like the look of the Margaret Sherry free kit and I also like the cat bookmarks.
Cross Stitch Card Shop also arrived today. I really like the Kiri card kit and the forever friends bear on the mag cover is sweet. Will have a proper look through later.
Cross Stitch/sofa/ratatouille film planned for later!0 -

My DH is very good about me stitching in front of the TV possibly because he is partially sighted so listens more than watches himself
Because of his sight problems we don't often go to the cinema these days and I don't mind because I feel like Louise that it can be a waste of good stitching time0 -

Hope this clears up soon. I have a type of allergic dermatitis so can sympathise
My first impression of WOCS was the same as yours though I do like the baby sampler and have bookmarked it for the next time I want to stitch one of these0 -

I can't stitch while soaps are on, I like to 'watch' them to see all the subtle things going on that I would miss while stitching. I like listening to quiz shows while stitching though. If hubby wants to watch a film while I'm stitching I ask him to put one on that I'm not really interested in watching so I can carry on and not be bothered about missing much.
On the whole hubby doesn't mind me stitching while tv is on as he's usually on his tablet or laptop but he rolls his eyes when I ask him to move off of the arm of his sofa because I need to rest my clipboard on it:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0
