Does anyone know where I could possibly find a 'free' cross stitch advent calender like the one in the link - I am happy to bid on this one but before I do I thought I would ask you guys first.

Hi moments I just googled free advent cross stitch and lots came up also there was a nice one I saw on themakingspot.co.uk but I can't remember if it was free or not, but none of the patterns on there are very expensive and you download them straight to the computer so no waiting for mr postman hth

maria - I found some quite nice freebies on Making Spot that I have added into - to do some day (maybe ). Have registered for newsletter which arrive weekly I think. Even the stuff that isn't free though isn't too expensive I dont think.

Finished Boofle this morning and hubby has said that he will try and frame it for me later tonight if he gets a chance. :smileyhea

outlaw mummy did buy me the Jesus Christ Superstar tour DVD tho (and let me have it early) :j

It seems such a shame some cards haven't been posted as agreed for one reason or another - perhaps we should make a suggestion that if the recipient hasn't posted one in the next 24/ 48h then you can put your own pic up (assuming you aren't a headcase like me and forgot to take one).

I've very impressed with all the Christmas cards, they are all so beautiful and creative. I can see a lot of thought went into them all.

Sweetcarer - thats a beautiful design, was it difficult? Are you going to frame it? To me it looks like something you would se in a really fancy hotel!

Moments of sanity - Hello! I'm new here as well. I'm waiting until I have added enough posts to be allowed to put a photo up. Regarding the magazine subscription, it depends on that you like. I've got one to World of Cross Stitch as I like the different designs. I think someone else suggested going to a shop and having a browse, thats a good idea.

Couldsavemore - did you manage to get any stitching done after work? I'm going to try and do some in a bit.

I still can't decide what to do as my next project as I've got a few I would like to do, but only one pair of hands! How do I decide?
