Tomorrow evening I will mount all my cards so will post a pic of them then, of course not including the exchange one.

Had a bit of a flap earlier, realised the the 28ct even weave I was going to use for mum Christmas stitch is in fact antique white, not the actual white I need. Usually it wouldn't matter, but I need white to match the threads of the pulled thread work so it all blends. Cue super quick order from sew and so.... my seems to have slipped and I ordered this too.

    Oops!

Well I have been lusting after it for a while :D Will have to be for next year though, have far too much to do for this already!!

Flat_Eric - I haven't watched Masterchef for a while but I have also wondered how they manage to fit it all in!

Ruth - Glad you've decided to get rid of your 'friend' Life is too short to worry about people like that.

  • Hard to recommend without knowing your budget or requirements, but this one is well made: http://www.tesco.com/direct/toyota-sesm21-sewing-machine/209-4997.prd?recommendationId=e317a085-2a5a-474a-b3db-902f43362dec.0&skuId=209-4997

I have a mid range Brother one which was £150, and is also very good, I can get you the model number if you want it.

What do you plan to do with it?

  • TMIF I got them from an ebay seller in the US, it was a Bucilla felt kit from 1996. I love their stuff, especially the older kits.

I've got a table runner kit and a tree skirt kit to do as well :rotfl: Although I won't need those until we have our own place, no space for a big tree or a dining table here!

I was going to get up early again but I didn't set my alarm properly :o so here I am sitting have a cup of tea instead of rushing out the door!

I am so convinced that I wouldn't need to set my alarm and that my furry alarm clock (cat) would wake me up instead but I don't trust my cat not to think it was the weekend and sleep in for hours :rotfl:

Have a good day all :j
