I prefer heroes - but there again I am partial to Celebration Maltezers :p.

mmmm I like celebrations but the best thing the container is plastic so I can reuse it for various things.

    Hello!

Hope everyone is keeping warm - it is bitter out there - pity I can't use it as a fridge - hopefully ours gets fixed Wednesday. Also this week is the the hire car goes back - got the settlement in on Saturday - £200 for my old car doesn't seem right. Just as well I am paying my dad back for the new one. I am nervous about driving the new one - rather have my wee one back.

Well I did quite a bit a stitching - so much I managed to finish my wee "colour" work seasons charts - now to think of a way of framing them - put them all together like the picture or individual wee frames - will have a wee browse round charity, pound shops, etc at weekend as I get paid Friday.

Well off to check on Facebook - been putting up a daily update for Avon on there - apologies to any of my FB friends if its too much. Keep well till next time

    sweetcarer ;)

PS I used the word Fall for Autumn just because the lady loves her hubby.

  • Hello,I was wondering if I could be as bold as to ask if any of you could help me please?
I am getting ready to stitch a stocking for my youngest daughter. The one I am doing is one that I stitched for her elder sister approx 5 yrs ago. However although I have the pattern I have misplaced the colour key chart!

It was featured in the crossstitcher magazine in 2005 and is designed by Joan Elliott entitled Twas the night before Christmas and has a pic of a beautiful x-mas tree with presents and a sleepy mouse.(There is only one mouse in this one).
Please could someone help me figure out the colours I need?My nearly three year old would be so pleased! Thank you :p

  • Flat all tidy, the millions of washing done and put away. Hubby away to work, Jaxon in his cot. Hubby's dinner all ready for when he gets in at midnight. Yankee candle burning away. Movie ready to watch......and STITCHING waiting beside me....

Off to catch up and then I will be away to settle down and stitch....:j

  • Here is the latest update on my current WIP -

    C360_2012-11-23-09-44-27_org.jpg

Love this design, and was tempted but I would prefer to do it on 14 count, so maybe see if I can find the chart instead of a kit.
verdict: both ears congested, both have fluid in, brian and ears feels fuzzy but as there is nothing they can prescribe (and - in his words: "you can try steam and olbus oil and sudafed but do they work.....I'm not convinced" ) I've got to go back to work.
    Woooop - that'll be interesting!!

I have a feeling this was the same dr who told me DS2 was fine when even strangers could hear the crackle on his chest - a week later when I took him back was told he had a raging chest infection.

He basically doesn't believe in medicines and unless you are dying you should just put up with it and cope. can't stand him (but he was the on call dr for todays 'ring on the day' appointments so had no choice.

We had a doctor like this when I was a baby. My Mum had phoned them quite a bit as I was having trouble breathing (I was about 7 months old). This went on for about a week and one night (this was when they did home visits at night, and not just tell you to go to the hospital) they refused to come out and told my Mum she was just an over anxious parent.
My Mum had to put me in a taxi and take me to A&E, where it turned out I had double pnemoania (sp?) and whooping cough.
My Dad went down to the surgery the next morning and told them, they reaction was to tell him we were banned from the surgery and we had to find another practice to take us.
    ;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)

Can we have a quick recap on signing/dating the card? I am happy for whoever is stitching for me to initial/sign and add the date if they want. I usually add LP & 2012 to my stitching, so will do that to my card if my secret Santa is ok with that...:D

I'm planning on stitching 'LP' & '2012' under the design and signing the card inside with my real name & mse name too. If that's ok...?
