When I lived in Canada when it was really cold I used to empty cans of creamed style corn into saucepan heat as hot as I dared and ate as soup with Triscuits (salty crackers). No messing about with liquidiser needed.
Maybe that would work with mushy peas ?0 -

I must admit as a big fan of mushy peas, i haven't been tempted to try these really cheap ones!
I think with some products you really do get what you pay for, and for me it's batchelors chip shop or harry ramsdans mushy peas every time.0
