I call them by their first names.'' Ok Marge, if anyone asks, you require 24-hour nursing care; Lisa's a clergyman; Maggie is seven people and Bart was wounded in Vietnam ''0

I think its nice, but my MIL"B and FIL2B haven't asked me to do that so I'll just be calling them by their first names. I send cards to them as mum and dad though.0

ATM my MIL2B is lucky i'm even bloody talking to her!
She will always be called by her first name (said through gritted teeth)
She will never be a mum to me as I don't think she know the meaning of the word!!!!
Sorry mini rant there.
Lets put it this way it is about as much as I can do to be civil to that woman :rotfl:First Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0 -
First name here for his mother. Nothing wrong with calling them mum and dad (thats what my parents did when they got married) but it just doesn't seem right for me personally. I also wouldn't want my future husband to start calling my mum Mum!GC2012: Nov £130.52/£125

Likewise (married 8 years). My sister in law (with my BIL a lot longer) still calls them Mr and Mrs D!!!Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.
Faith is the denial of observation, so that belief can be preserved.

My FIL texts me occassionally. Before the wedding he always signed off with "T...". After the wedding he started signing off with "dad". I asked DH to ask him not to do that any more as I don't like it. It's not for me, personally.Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0
